We wrapped up the 5-Day Uncover Cash Challenge by turning data into dollars, literally. After five days of mapping workflows, spotting bottlenecks, and applying the “Audit → Fix → Automate” framework, business owners revealed just how much hidden money was buried in their operations. 💡 Here’s what we found: - Jose uncovered $115,200 in hidden revenue and time savings by systemizing his client onboarding and automating key follow-ups. - Kim uncovered $31,800 by tightening her onboarding process, standardizing templates, and enforcing clearer client steps. Day 4 Recap: Protecting the Win
Y'ALL!!! Combined Total Recovered Value (Minimum Verified): This means this is just an estimate!!! $49,000 + $48,000 = $97,000/year from just one task!!! Today we took the workflow we mapped and the bottleneck we identified earlier in the week — and we turned it into a real, working SOP. No theory. No “when I have time.” We built the actual process step-by-step so it can be repeated the same way every time. Then, we took it a step further: We learned how to measure the impact of that new process using KPIs. We looked at how time saved = money protected, and how consistency in onboarding prevents scope creep, burnout, and confusion (for both the business owner and their clients). By the end of class, everyone walked away with: - A documented SOP they can use right now - A weekly KPI starter ist to track how well the process is performing - A clear understanding of how improving one workflow uncovers real cash Tomorrow, we lock in the system. Today we revisited the process we mapped and audited, and took the next key step — identifying the bottleneck. This is where things get real. Once the steps were laid out, it became clear where the slowdown was happening — the part of the workflow that takes too long, gets repeated, or creates confusion. And even though the task itself seemed simple, seeing it on paper showed exactly where time and energy are leaking. Key shifts today: - Realizing the bottleneck isn’t always where you think it is - Understanding how one step can slow down the entire operation - Beginning to see how tightening that one point creates immediate relief in the business - Day 3 was about clarity — not rushing into fixing, but knowing exactly what needs attention. Today we start designing the solution. One step at a time. 🔍✨

Today we took the task each student identified yesterday and audited it step-by-step. The goal wasn’t to fix anything yet, it was simply to see how the process is currently being done. And once we laid it out?We started to see where time, money, and energy are slipping away — not because of effort, but because of how the work is being done. Some of the breakthroughs today: - Realizing that what feels like “a quick task” actually has multiple mini-steps - Seeing where hand-offs, follow-ups, or tracking are missing - Understanding that inefficiencies show up long before the money does We even pushed a little further and explored what the ideal version of that same process could look like cleaner, simpler, and easier to repeat. This is the work that uncovers cash. This is where clarity begins. See you in Day 3 — where we start tightening it up.

DAY 1 - Uncover Cash Chalenge Went Down Tonight!
Day 1 Recap: Shifting the Lens from External to Internal We just wrapped up Day 1 of the Uncover Cash Challenge, and I have to say, today was powerful. We kicked things off by talking about each student’s business and what they felt was their biggest challenge. At first, most answers focused on external issues, things like client agreements, pricing, or funding. All valid, but that’s not what we’re unpacking this week. Today’s goal was to shift that lens inward, to start thinking about what’s happening inside your operations. Because the reality is, money leaks don’t always start outside the business. They often live in how we work, what we track (or don’t), and the processes we rely on every day. By the end of class, I started to see the shift. Students began connecting the dots between their processes, systems, and outcomes, realizing that every business, no matter the product or service, runs on operations. That awareness alone is step one to uncovering cash in your business. Let’s keep that momentum rolling into Day 2. 🔥
