Welcome to this community!
Hi, my name is Barbara Miller and I am an author, historian, teacher, sociologist and former psychologist and I want to introduce you to this community I have founded on Skool. After the Holocaust of 6 million Jews and others including gypsies, political opponents, homosexuals and the disabled, the world said “Never Again”. However we have seen it again on Oct 7 2023 where 1200 Isaelis were horrifically killed, at Bondi Beach Australia where 15 mostly Jews were massacred and incidents around the world with calls to Globalize the Intifada. So we now have a situation where antisemitism has grown like a monster that is tearing apart the social fabric of many nations including Australia, destroying the multicultural dream with divisive rhetoric and hateful actions, challenging the values our peaceful democracies were built on and traumatising Jews in Israel and around the world who just want to live their lives in peace and contribute to a better world. Not only that, antisemitism has morphed from the ancient fear of difference and envy and scapegoating of the Jews for the world’s problems to the race-based worldview of the Nazis during World War 2 that Jews were inferior to Aryans to the current variety. We now have the shocking inversion of Jews being falsely accused as Nazis and antisemitism masquerading as acceptable even proud antizionism or criticism of Israel’s policies and right to exist. Not content to genocide Jews they want to genocide Israel from the river to the sea. And globalize their war on Jews. So now, instead of the Nazis, we have what has been called a “horseshoe” coalition of marxists on the left, fascists on the right and radical Islamists, with little in common except their hatred of Jews and their desire to brand and run the world in their image. So I have developed this community to: · Increase awareness and provide educational materials both historic and current · Create a community where discussion and support can occur · Provide comfort and support for the Jewish community and others who feel grief at the state of affairs we are in and
