This community was built on a foundation of truth, respect and a commitment to learning. To keep it a safe and meaningful space for everyone, we ask all members to follow these guidelines.
1. Be Respectful Treat every member with dignity and kindness. We come from different backgrounds, cultures and levels of knowledge. Disagreement is welcome — disrespect is not.
2. Stay on Topic Keep discussions relevant to antisemitism, the Holocaust, human rights and related issues. This is a learning community with a clear mission — let's honour that.
3. No Hate Speech Antisemitism, racism, discrimination or any form of hate speech will not be tolerated in any form — including in comments, posts or direct messages. Violations will result in immediate removal from the community.
4. No Holocaust Denial Denying, minimising or distorting the Holocaust is not permitted. This is non-negotiable.
5. Engage With Humility This is difficult and emotional history. Come with an open mind and a willingness to learn. Personal reactions and emotions are welcome — hostility is not.
6. Protect Privacy Do not share personal information about other members without their consent.
7. No Spam or Self-Promotion Do not post promotional content, links to external products or services, or repetitive messages.
8. Give Credit If you share content from external sources, credit the original author or source.
9. Report Issues If you see content that violates these guidelines, please report it to the admin rather than engaging with it directly.
10. Remember Why We Are Here We are here to learn, to remember, and to act. Every interaction in this community is an opportunity to model the upstander behaviour we are learning about.
Violations of these guidelines may result in a warning, temporary suspension or permanent removal from the community at the admin's discretion.
Thank you for being part of this community.
