Antisemitism — hatred and prejudice directed at Jewish people — is one of the oldest and most persistent forms of hatred in human history. It reached its most extreme and horrific expression in the Holocaust, the state-sponsored genocide of six million Jews by Nazi Germany between 1933 and 1945. Yet antisemitism did not die with the Holocaust. It is rising today.
Founded by Barbara Miller, award-winning author of Australian Indigenous history and Holocaust biography, this community is dedicated to educating people about the Holocaust and antisemitism, and equipping members to recognise hatred and take a stand.
Inside you'll find two comprehensive courses covering the full history of the Holocaust, the world's response, and the story of Australian Aboriginal elder William Cooper — who led one of the only non-governmental protests against Kristallnacht in 1938. Thanks to the WE ARE HERE Foundation for their support.
