So after you answer the poll question, I would like to know from the 501c3’ers, what do you feel like you need in 2026 for your nonprofit? Oh yeah, money cannot be the answer because that’s a given.

If you don’t have your organization set up in PayPal, I really think you should. It is one of the oldest online merchant service platforms and still considered one of the safest ones for payment processing. Also, when it comes to legal compliance, you can collect all the information required by our government. We call this the paper trail. I will provide the link if you are interested. I would like to firmly suggest that you do NOT connect your organization to your personal one unless PayPal requires it. You would be considered the representative of the organization. A note to really pay attention to within the directions is… During the sign-up process, make sure to select “Nonprofit Organization” as your account type. You will need to provide detailed information about your charity, including its Employer Identification Number (EIN). For some organizations, this information might suffice to confirm your nonprofit status. If additional verification is needed, you may be asked to submit proof of your charity tax status, such as your IRS determination letter. This way you have less likely chance of signing up in the wrong place. Let me know in the comments if you are already signed up, you plan to, or you just completed the process. Ok, so I know you are probably out there getting ready to "chow down" with friends and family today.
