Have You Created Your Spark (Walmart) Account?
Remember, sometimes it's just a numbers game, not about how strong your grant application is and sometimes it is about the relationships you are willing to build.
One of my challenges is that you go into Walmart and a few other retailers that you frequent, ask for the manager, and talk to them about what you are trying to do for the community. Then ask if there is any grant funding you could apply for.
In the meantime, don't forget the Walmart grant. Sometimes it is good to visit a few and get a manager's name that you can list on the application.
