3 simple tips to get better results from ChatGPT
90% of getting good results from ChatGPT isn’t about being a “prompt engineer.”
It’s about being a good communicator.
➡️Can you explain what you want?
➡️Can you give clear feedback that improve the output?
➡️Do you use a structured framework (when needed)
That’s the real skill.
Because AI doesn’t read minds.
It reads instructions.
And it’s up to you to judge the output and guide it towards ‘good’
Also it can be helpful to use a framework to make sure you include enough details and context.
---
Here’s a simple prompt framework you can use:
---Prompt Framework---
Goal of the Conversation:
(What outcome are you trying to get?)
Context (Input Data):
(What details does ChatGPT need to do the job well?)
Pretend to be:
(What kind of expert should ChatGPT act as?)
Your First Task:
(What’s the first action you want?)
Output Formatting:
(How do you want the answer structured?)
---
Half the time, I use frameworks like this myself. The other half? I’m just riffing and talking out loud to the AI.
But when I need great and consistent—I use the framework.
Hope this help!
Anyone else have a prompt framework to share they are using they find helpful?
