Corey Haines (Conversion Factory) has published a free skills library for Claude Code users doing marketing work.
23 skills covering:
- CRO (landing pages, signup flows, forms, popups, paywalls)
- Copywriting and copy editing
- SEO audits and programmatic SEO
- Analytics tracking setup
- Email sequences
- Pricing strategy
- A/B test planning
Install via CLI: npx add-skill coreyhaines31/marketingskills
Note: This is for Claude Code (the command-line tool), not the web chat interface.
Anyone tried building custom skills for their own workflows? I must admit, I had avoided creating too many skills because my understanding was that you need to call on them explicitly, but Claude recommended.
"Install the full set. The overhead is minimal. But don't expect magic. Test with real tasks and see which skills Claude picks up automatically versus which need explicit invocation. That will tell you whether the descriptions are well-written for your workflow."
Written from a US perspective, so check any guidance against your local requirements, but the skills are editable. I was thinking of auditing them once installed.
