Hard to say but I think with the opus 4.7 upgrade it eats up those tokens like crazy. I worked about the same and almost reached my weekly limit on my $100 max plan. Have you noticed it too?

@Catherine Eadie yes, I wonder if OpenAI can read Claude MD files? If so, you could just switch services in VS Code or whatever without losing all your "training" work.
If your AI setup isn’t making you money on the side… it’s incomplete.
Most people here are focused on using AI to create more content, automate workflows, or improve client results…which makes sense. But I’ve noticed something a bit overlooked,. AI is incredibly good at producing value…yet a .t of people aren’t structuring a way to actually capture that value for themselves. It’s like building a powerful engine but never deciding where the output goes. One thing that started making more sense to me was connecting AI-generated insights, trends, and demand…to something that already has built-in buying behavior behind it. That shift changes AI from just a tool… into something that quietly generates income on the side. Not replacing what you’re doing, just complementing it in a way that compounds. Wondering: has anyone here tried using AI beyond services or content… into something that actually runs in the background?

I keep looking for a way to make money on the side with AI -- no luck so far. So far, it's helped me do client work faster, which does earn me more money. But I was hoping it would help me pivot into new ways of making money, either on the side or as my main job, but I haven't found anything yet. The main hype I seem to get fed on YouTube is selling AI automations to businesses. Basically you present yourself as an AI consultant, get them to show you what processes run in the business day to day, then you either tell them what could be automated by AI or automate it for them. This sounds pretty insane for the average person. What business is going to let you come in and poke around their operations and then automate them? Anything you do create is going to need constant refining, troubleshooting etc. From my experience, AI is no where near accurate or reliable enough to be running legacy businesses. Obviously, if you're already a business consultant who goes in and optimizes businesses, this is viable. You'd just do what you're already doing, but add AI to the mix. But for everyone else, it seems like a bold move! "Hey, I'm an expert in this software that's only been around for a while. I've never run a business myself, but can I come into your (successful) business and f up all your s?" That's the type of content I see on YouTube. I'm not sure if it's just the algo showing me this or it's the main type of AI money making content online?

Nice! Did you describe the styles you wanted or just ask it to generate a few different versions?
How do you deal with Claude's inaccuracy?
I'm using Claude to help with writing content for clients. But it keeps making mistakes, whether it's getting things wrong or leaving things out. This causes big problems as it titles the entire focus of the article. For example, if it misses that a particular tool has a specific feature, it will aim the whole article around that lack of feature, only for me to spot that it does have that feature, which makes the whole angle of the piece off. When I spot the issue and tell Claude, it says, " Well done, you're right to push back, etc". I've been building up my MD files to try to eliminate this (don't make things up; check the product pages themselves, not other reviews online, etc.), but it keeps happening. I dread to think what it would be like for coding or anything that you can't quickly check by looking at! Any advice on keeping Claude honest and stopping it from making assumptions, auto-filling, or just missing important details?

@Ryan Doser Thanks, will look into those two. I'm not sure it is scraping but it is checking (or supposed to be checking) live pages for info.
Claude Design
I finally got around to testing Claude Design this Sunday afternoon and wow I'm actually impressed! Still need to do some exploring but in one shot I told it to improve my digital product landing page (https://skills.ryandoser.com/) and optimize for more conversions and I was very impressed with the output and how user friendly this is. Has anyone else starting using Claude Design yet for real world applications?

@Denis Laflamme Very nice! But Claude definitely has a very distinct design style!

I watched a video and it looks cool. I wonder if it will be moprhed into some kind of website/webpage editor where you just point and click and tell Claude to change things. I'm a bit scared to try is as I don't want to run down my credits in one go.
