CoPilot Not as Bad as Ryan Portrays it?
Thought I would have a bit of fun with 's disdain for Microsoft CoPilot. Now that I've had a chance to work in Copilot for a number of months, what I find interesting is that their focus has been on integrating it within its Microsoft suite of products. What they've lacked is anything to do with trying to compete with ChatGPT or Claude.
However, recently they've made some integrations with ChatGPT and Claude within the co-pilot ecosystem. You can choose from GPT 5.5, 5.6 or Claude Opus 4.8. It appears to be a pay as you go.
In addition, they've added a co-work portion where you can schedule out tasks and for example recap my day and tell me what I got to do tomorrow is when I just run an email. mailed me in the list. It's pretty cool, I think. Now, comparing it to Claude Code, I know it's not the best. But it's a step in the right direction for those of us who have to live in the Microsoft ecosystem.
