I Wish I Knew This Before Starting My 2 Businesses
When I first started building my own businesses, my first thoughts were: "I needed more ideas...clarity...confidence...time...strategy...information. Let's go!" Have you ever felt that way, too? 🤔 -------------------------------------------------------- But over time, I realized something... My confusion did not come from not knowing enough...I mean, I already know a lot of things...and with AI, I can know everything. So, my confusion stemmed from trying to build on top of unclear foundations. 😖 And for our ADHD brains, unclear foundations can turn into overwhelm really fast. 🧠 So I want to share 3 things I wish I knew as an ADHD mompreneur early on. Not to pressure you. Not to make business feel heavier. But to give you something solid to think through before you pour your energy into things that may not actually move the business forward. -------------------------------------------------------- Here’s the first-principles version: A business is not a logo. A business is not a website. A business is not a pile of content ideas. A business is simply this: 🔶 You help a specific person solve a specific problem in a way they are willing to pay for. Everything else builds from there. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 1. YOUR BUSINESS DOES NOT START WITH YOUR IDEA... IT STARTS WITH A PROBLEM A lot of us start with: “I have an idea.” But the stronger question is: “Whose problem am I solving?” 👉 Because people do not usually pay for your idea. They pay because something feels frustrating, confusing, painful, expensive, exhausting, or important enough that they want help. 📍 YOUR ACTION STEP Write this sentence: “I help ______ who struggle with ______ so they can ______.” My example: “I help ADHD moms who struggle with business overwhelm so they can use AI in simple, practical ways to buy back time and take their next clear step.” If you cannot fill this in yet, that is not a failure. That is just your next piece of clarity. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 2. A SMALLER AUDIENCE IS USUALLY EASIER TO SERVE THAN A BIGGER ONE

Quick question for you... takes 10 seconds. 🙏
When you have a great idea but don't capture it right away, what usually happens? 🔶 I forget it completely 🔶 I find it weeks later and don't remember why it mattered 🔶 I dig through notes/apps trying to find it again 🔶 I just start over from scratch 🔶 Something else... Curious how common this is across our community. I'm working on something that's all about fixing this... your answer helps me make it land. 🙏

Help Me Choose My One-Liner 💚 (Your Vote Decides)
I've been working on one simple line to describe my other community... Let AI Do It Lab. (It's separate from this one... a home for ADHD mompreneurs who want to learn AI. And honestly? You're exactly the moms I made it for. 🥰) I keep going back and forth between 3 versions of that line. 🤔 You're some of the people I trust most to tell me the truth... so I'd rather ask you than guess. Here's what matters most to me. I want this line to be clear for every ADHD mom. Including those of us who read or think in another language first. English is not my first language...I was born and raised in the Philippines, so Tagalog is my first language. That's why I'm highly sensitive about the words I use to make sure everyone can understand them... especially since our communities are global! 🌏 So here are the three 👇 1️⃣ "The only AI fluency space built ADHD-first… for moms building mission-driven businesses." 2️⃣ "The only place where ADHD moms learn to use AI… made for the ADHD brain, building mission-driven businesses." 3️⃣ "The only place built for ADHD mompreneurs to learn AI… made for your brain and your business." 👉 Which one lands clearest for you? Tap your pick in the poll. And if any word feels clunky or hard to read, tell me in the comments. That helps me more than you know. 🥰 I appreciate you. 🙏 P.S. If you'd mix two of them together, say so below... I'm all ears. P.P.S. One more thing, because it matters to me. 🌿 This little poll? It's one simple way to validate an idea before you pour your energy into it. You stop guessing alone... and let real people show you what lands. So as a thank-you for voting, I want to do the same for you. If you've got a one-liner, an offer name, or an idea you've been sitting on... start your own post like this one and ask us to weigh in. 💚 I'll show up for yours the way you showed up for mine. Because we're in this together, and that's the whole point.🥰

Please Read If You Have a Skool Community or Want One🚀
I just watched the newest Skool News update about something called Growth Boost, and I immediately thought of the moms here who are building communities, offers, memberships, or digital businesses. 🔸Here’s the simple version: Skool is now promoting communities through off-site ads...like on Meta, Instagram, Facebook, etc. Meaning...Not ads inside Skool. 🔁 That is the Growth Boost loop: ✅ Skool spends their own money to help community owners get members. ✅ And if Skool brings a paying customer into your paid community, Skool takes a 30% commission... similar to an affiliate. ✅ Then Skool reinvests that money into more ads. ✅ This brings more members to more communities. And honestly... this is a BIG deal. Because one of the hardest parts of building a community is not usually the community itself. It is traffic. It is attention. It's the Attract phase. It is getting the right people to even know your community exists. And for ADHD mompreneurs, this part can feel especially heavy because we are often already holding so much: Business. Motherhood. Content. Learning new tools. Understanding AI. Admin. Energy management. Our actual lives. 😅 The idea that Skool may help bring more aligned people into communities is worth paying attention to. A few important details: ✅ Growth Boost is turned on by default. Go to Settings --> Discovery --> Growth Boost (see screenshot) ✅ It works for both free and paid groups. ✅ It is free until June 16. ✅ You can turn it off. ✅ If you turn it off, Skool said your Skool network traffic may go down significantly because they will prioritize groups that have Growth Boost turned on. ✅ If you bring your own customer from your own audience or traffic, you do not pay the 30% commission. You only pay the normal payment processing fee. 🔸The other part that stood out to me was this: ✅ Your Skool cover image, group card, and About page matter even more now. ✅ Because if Skool is promoting your community in ads, your cover image is basically becoming your live ad.

Many of you told me that you want to start your own businesses. That's fantastic, and know that I'm your biggest cheerleader! 🥰 Here are some things to keep in mind. One of the FIRST problems every new mompreneur has to solve is this: 👉 How do I get people to actually see my offer, service, or community? Because creating the offer is only part of the business. The real bottleneck for most new entrepreneurs is TRAFFIC --> getting eyeballs 👀--> which I call the ATTRACT Phase of business (more on that in later posts). Not because you’re doing anything wrong... But if people don’t know you exist, they can’t buy from you. 😅 Always keep this in mind...and you're one step ahead in the entrepreneurial game. ------------------------------------------------- And this is where I think the Skool platform is becoming a really interesting option for ADHD moms who want to start simple. I'm one of the OG's of Skool since 2023. So, I've seen it from its Beta phase and its evolution. One of the many things I admire about Skool is that they genuinely try to help entrepreneurs, like us, get traffic. They've been experimenting with many options. Many of them are already implemented and working well for community owners, like me. 🥰 And yesterday, they officially announced that they will now help Skool community owners get traffic through ads! Ads outside of Skool...like ads on Meta, Instagram, Facebook, Google, etc. Let's pause here because I want to emphasize ➡️ that's a BIG deal!!!!💃💃💃 Why? Because when you’re new, you usually don’t have: ❌ A big audience ❌ A huge email list ❌ Ad experience ❌ A full funnel ❌ Extra brain space to learn 47 more things And for ADHD brains, that matters....a lot! 😁 Because starting a business already takes so much executive function: 🧠 Deciding what to sell 🧠 Explaining what you do 🧠 Creating content 🧠 Following up 🧠 Managing energy 🧠 Learning tools 🧠 Staying consistent So if there is a platform that can help reduce the “How do I get traffic?” problem, that is worth paying attention to. That's why I'm paying attention. And I invite you to do so as well. 🎯
