Alexandria Fragrances: Experiences and Recommendations
I’m planning to purchase one or two Alexandria fragrances soon. What is your experience with this brand, and which ones would you recommend? Additionally, I’m curious which other similar niche or indie fragrance brands you would recommend. Preferably not overpriced brands such as Creed or Bond No. 9 😅

I don't mind clones if they perform better then the "OG". I also like fragrances that are not mainstream, here in the Netherlands not a lot of people have or talk about Alexandria. That is why I choose that brand. Feel free to give me more heat like that brand 😁
Help me out
I am a big perfume lover and I love to smell different from others. For every occasion I have a type of fragrance that I use, for the office, before sleeping, gym, after showering, etc. Now, I’m someone who is crazy about niche/indie fragrances but I don’t have the wallet of many members here. My question to the experts here: can you name some niche/indie brands that you have experience with where I could, for example, buy a 100 ml bottle for around €100? The perfumes should also last a long time (8+ hours). Thanks in advance for your input and information.

Alexandria's version of Naxos. This is a pretty good dupe of it, in the mid to dry down this is a bit more sweeter than the OG and Naxos has a floral note and smoother honey. In the air, very close!

I wanted to buy this one, does it last long?
How many times do you spray?
A while back, I did a test to see if spraying 4–6 times with a strong oud fragrance would get me compliments and then spraying 16–20 times with two semi strong fragrances. You guessed it, I did get a couple of compliments, and people even asked me what fragrance I was wearing when I applied at least 16 sprays. Moral of the story: since I now know people can smell me and compliment me, I tend to “overspray” at least in some people’s opinion. Let me know your thoughts on spraying less than 8 or more than 12 🙂

Budget friendly vs expensive
I’d like to hear from someone who’s a spealist in the fragrance world and has extensive knowledge and a broad collection of perfumes. Are fragrances from brands like MFK, Nishane, Xerjoff, and Zoologist really longer-lasting and worth the price compared to brands like French Avenue and Swiss Arabian? I want to grow my collection with fragrances that are truly worth the price and not just buy them for the brand name.

@Lon Chaneyfield I spray a lot of times, 12 up to 20 times normally. I want to own xerjoff or zoologist or other niche fragrances, but I will end them in couple months. That’s why I want to know 2/3 brands that are dupes but are affordable

@Lon Chaneyfield I own two bottles of Swiss arabian. Both of then stick days. Compared to MFK or some Tom Ford, the fragrance disappear in 5/6 hours. Some niche fragrances are worth to buy for very special occasions, Xerjoff for me personally. But overall, I think if you like to spray perfume the whole day long, you need to check strong dupes or designers.
