Brain-derived neurotrophic factor is one of the most powerful molecules your nervous system produces. People often describe it as “brain fertilizer,” but that analogy only captures a small slice of its real function. BDNF is a master orchestrator of neural plasticity, mitochondrial performance, synapse formation, memory consolidation, resilience to stress, motivation, and even muscle repair.
