Finally Landed a Better-Paid Job!
Hey everyone, I’m a software developer from Berlin and wanted to briefly share something with you. Every time I searched for a new job, I struggled with self-doubt, imposter syndrome, and all that shit that comes with it! After chatting with Alex on LinkedIn and getting invited to the community, I went through all the content here—and it completely changed my mindset around job searching and how to talk to companies. I was able to land the perfect job for me, one where I can genuinely see myself staying for the next 2–3 years while building on my skillset. Initially, the company offered me (without knowing) exactly the same salary I had before, with a plan to increase it by 12.5% after 6 months and another 12.5% after the following 6 months. I managed to negotiate a completely different setup: -> a higher starting salary (a 20% increase compared to my previous job) -> followed by a 15% raise after 6 months -> and another 25% raise after the next 6 months That adds up to a total increase of 50% within one year. We also agreed to define clear career goals for each 6-month period, each tied to a salary increase. After the negotiations, they said they would need to think about it. I hounestly expected a counter-offer with a lower salary and different conditions. The next fucking day, they sent me the signed contract—with a flexible start date and a note hoping I could start as soon as mid-February. I’m still a bit shocked that this actually happened, but I now see the job market with completely new eyes! So thank you, Alex, for providing all of this information for free 🙏 And to everyone who’s still struggling: don’t give up and trust the process. It WILL happen 🥳

Senior Dev Explains Why “Lying” Gets You Overpaid And Hired - LIVE EVENT TOMORROW
Your "honesty" in interviews is costing you $50K+ per year. And companies are laughing all the way to the bank. Here's what nobody tells you: Interviews aren't about who's best. They're about who plays the game better. I'm hosting a LIVE session where I'll reveal exactly how to pass BS filters in 5-10 seconds, match energy to build instant rapport, and use strategic framing to get paid MORE than developers who code circles around you. This isn't about lying. It's about understanding the game everyone else is already playing. You'll learn: • Why brutal honesty gets you filtered out • The exact negotiation tactics that add $20K to offers • How to present experience strategically (not dishonestly) • Why technical skills matter less than you think Look, this isn't fair. But companies lie in job descriptions every single day. They play games with salary ranges. Your livelihood depends on playing this right. I'm also opening 5 coaching spots during the event (first come, 50%+ rejection rate). Link to Event: https://www.skool.com/tech-interview-experts/calendar?eid=3b36dc4eef6a42439edd0036b446a3ef Join if you're tired of losing jobs to people who just knew how to interview better. Is it wrong that interviews reward performance over pure skill? P.S. Comment "RECORDING" to recieve the recording after!
