Hello Beautiful Humans! I am making changes to the upcoming calendar, and want to bring your attention to the following: 1. Weekly Check-In/Community Hour is Moved to Wednesdays 3:30-4:30pm (MST) This is will be shared Community Hour, open to all three of my small communities, so please stop in anytime during that hour if you can. If you have questions or work you want to do, that is perfect, and if you just want to check-in, share a win or a struggle or see what I/others are up to, please do. 2. Creative Flow Workshops are the first Saturday of every month, and our next one is December 6th. This is a "Artist Date" style workshop where you bring whatever project you want and we do some work together. Perfect to share some coffee/tea and build more sense of community. This is also a shared event, and open the entire 90 minute window, starting at 12pm (MST). 3. Our next 3-Day Reset is on the calendar December 15-16-17 (with pre and post days the 14th and 18th) in case you want to plan ahead. I will be following a similar format but changing it up ever cycle and hope you can join me! As always, let me know if you have any questions or suggestions, and I look forward to seeing you soon. What is Emotional Fitness, and why does it matter?

I will attach this in pdf format incase you want to download it. Emotional Fitness: Beyond Intelligence to Resilience What is Emotional Fitness? Just like physical fitness is more than knowing how to exercise, Emotional Fitness goes beyond emotional intelligence. It's your complete emotional operating system. The Two Pillars of Emotional Fitness 1. EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE (The Knowledge) Like knowing proper exercise form - Awareness: Recognizing emotions as they arise in your body - Naming: Accurately identifying what you're feeling - Understanding: Knowing why emotions emerge and what they signal - Processing: Using tools to move through emotions healthily - Expressing: Communicating emotions effectively 2. EMOTIONAL RESILIENCE (The Capacity) Like having actual muscle strength and endurance - Bandwidth: How many emotional stressors you can handle simultaneously - Frequency: Your baseline emotional state and ability to maintain or raise it - Pressure Tolerance: Staying regulated under stress or negative influences - Recovery Speed: How quickly you bounce back from emotional challenges - Endurance: Sustaining emotional wellness over time The Fitness Analogy Physical Fitness: - You can know perfect squat form (intelligence) - But still lack the strength to do 20 squats (resilience) Emotional Fitness: - You can know you're anxious and why (intelligence) - But still lack the capacity to stay calm in traffic (resilience) Why Both Matter: Intelligence Without Resilience: "I know I'm triggered by criticism and I should breathe through it, but I still spiral for hours afterward." Resilience Without Intelligence: "I can push through anything, but I have no idea what I'm feeling or why I keep repeating the same patterns." True Emotional Fitness: "I recognize I'm feeling defensive because this reminds me of past criticism. I'll use my SHIFT practice to process this in 5 minutes and respond from a centered place."
