Hey 👋🏼
My name is Will Hastings. I mostly train in person and have started into the online portion recently. Apex Performance is my business and i've been a coach for over 10 years now. A big goal for my business this year would be to bump my income up to $15k per quarter consistently. Outside of work, I actually LOVE to play video games/watch anime and cook! I have found those outlets to help me with my creativity. looking forward to connecting to everyone! If you have any training questions focused on youth athletes, i’d be happy to give my knowledge 🤘🏼
Hey 👋🏼

@Matthew Schooley If i’m going to be honest, I don’t have many challenges in that area. I have no need to grow in that direction at this time as well. Anything Online is more for fun/practice.

@Matthew Schooley thanks! i don’t know why i mentioned online coaching bc i hardly do it 😅😅 i’m working on coaching coaches in my area and that’ll be my “online” training
5 sales objections killing your closes (and how to fix them!)
If you’re getting a lot of “I need to think about it” after you pitch the price… it’s easy to assume the lead just isn’t serious, but most of the time, that’s not what’s happening 😬 They are interested. They do want results. They’re just not confident enough yet to say yes. And that’s what objections really are: a lack of clarity + a lack of confidence. The good news is you can prevent almost every objection before it ever shows up if you know what to listen for and what to ask earlier in the conversation. Here are the five most common sales objections, and the simple fix for each 🛠️ 1) “It’s too expensive.” This almost never means “I can’t afford it.” It usually means: “I don’t see why it’s worth it.” Don’t rush to defend your price. Instead, slow down and say, “Before we talk numbers, I want to make sure you can clearly see what this helps you do and why it works.” Then connect your offer to their real life by asking "What does staying stuck cost them? Energy? Confidence? Stress? Health? Another year of starting over?" When the value is clear, the price feels fair. 2) “I need to ask my partner.” This isn’t a problem at the end of the consult. It’s a question you should’ve asked near the beginning. Try this question earlier in your convo, “Do you have support at home if you decide to do this?” and "Do they know you're here?" 3) “I don’t have time.” Translation: “I’m scared I won’t be able to keep up.” Before you present the offer, ask: “What’s a realistic amount of time you can commit to fitness each week?” Whatever they say, believe them. Build the plan around that. When your program fits their schedule, “time” disappears as an objection. 4) “I’m not sure about 6 or 12 months.” This isn’t about time. It’s about uncertainty. If they can’t picture what those months look like, the commitment feels huge. Fix it by giving them a simple roadmap that gets them excited about their dream outcome. When they can see the path, they stop fearing the timeline. 5) “I don’t like working out.”

@Christine Marshall thank you! i’ve had to fine tune it over the years so that way i don’t get any complainers about prices for their child’s training. it’s helped me attract a clientele that doesn’t care about price as long as the results are evident

@Cassie McIsaac hey Cassie!! i believe that Mindpump does have a CRM (Customer Relations Manager) that would help with organization of things. i’ve been using my own version of it for the last 3+ years now and it’s a HUGE reason i’ve been able to grow to the size i am with just myself on staff.

@Cassie McIsaac it’s built out on the same platform that the MP one is! GoHighLevel. it’s fantastic! I work with a company that gave me a pretty bare bones version of it along with some Sample automations and over the years I’ve been able to build out exactly what I want so things are done automatically and I don’t have to worry about the organization of details as much anymore
Youth Client Wins
Hey! thought I’d kick this section off with a few wins from my clients! This weekend, there is an Inter-Regional camp for soccer happening in Florida. The goal of this camp is to select the top players in each age group from around the country to play on the national team at each players respective age. I have 2 players that i’ve been working with down there now getting ready to start their official games today and tomorrow. I’m hyped for these young men and the hard work they have put in to get to this opportunity 🔥🤘🏼

to update everyone: both players i had at this event played great. we won’t know selection until another few weeks at minimum. but im optimistic for one of them. the other got into his head and made some simple mistakes on both first and second day (even though his team won the game he played poorly). for these kinds of camps, it doesn’t matter how well the Team itself does. They are watching to see how the players are doing. Theoretically, the squad that these guys were on could lose dramatically every single game but if they played well, they would be chosen

i’m interested in asking him a question about DDD and ways to potentially combat the effects. I understand that it’s not reversible, but there are ways to mitigate the pain and discomfort. I want to pick his brain about that.

@Ann Svogun I also wanted to ask him about Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. i’ve begun researching it myself to Coach a softball Club through mobility to help them combat that issue. The Softball coach i spoke to yesterday is excited for me to start helping her girls and i want to know as much as possible and how to apply it before i do
