Started Weight Loss Challenge
I recently started a small weight loss challenge for current and past clients. About 11 people total. The focus is not scale weight, it is effort and participation. What Iโ€™m tracking: - Showing up to workouts - Completing weekly tasks - Attending bi-weekly group calls - Building habits - Intuitive eating or macro tracking - Consistency over perfection Iโ€™m honestly surprised by how committed they are, high attendance on group calls, tasks getting checked off, people asking better questions and more ownership across the board. The biggest takeaway so far, the group dynamic matters more than I expected. The added layer of shared accountability seems to help with some behavior change. Itโ€™s early, but this reinforced something important for me, support systems drive consistency more than willpower ever will. If you run 1:1 coaching only, it might be worth testing some form of group support alongside it!

great insight here, Louis! @Susanna Birge would be able to add to this as well as she's successfully running a challenge right now herself xx

5 sales objections killing your closes (and how to fix them!)
If youโ€™re getting a lot of โ€œI need to think about itโ€ after you pitch the priceโ€ฆ itโ€™s easy to assume the lead just isnโ€™t serious, but most of the time, thatโ€™s not whatโ€™s happening ๐Ÿ˜ฌ They are interested. They do want results. Theyโ€™re just not confident enough yet to say yes. And thatโ€™s what objections really are: a lack of clarity + a lack of confidence. The good news is you can prevent almost every objection before it ever shows up if you know what to listen for and what to ask earlier in the conversation. Here are the five most common sales objections, and the simple fix for each ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ 1) โ€œItโ€™s too expensive.โ€ This almost never means โ€œI canโ€™t afford it.โ€ It usually means: โ€œI donโ€™t see why itโ€™s worth it.โ€ Donโ€™t rush to defend your price. Instead, slow down and say, โ€œBefore we talk numbers, I want to make sure you can clearly see what this helps you do and why it works.โ€ Then connect your offer to their real life by asking "What does staying stuck cost them? Energy? Confidence? Stress? Health? Another year of starting over?" When the value is clear, the price feels fair. 2) โ€œI need to ask my partner.โ€ This isnโ€™t a problem at the end of the consult. Itโ€™s a question you shouldโ€™ve asked near the beginning. Try this question earlier in your convo, โ€œDo you have support at home if you decide to do this?โ€ and "Do they know you're here?" 3) โ€œI donโ€™t have time.โ€ Translation: โ€œIโ€™m scared I wonโ€™t be able to keep up.โ€ Before you present the offer, ask: โ€œWhatโ€™s a realistic amount of time you can commit to fitness each week?โ€ Whatever they say, believe them. Build the plan around that. When your program fits their schedule, โ€œtimeโ€ disappears as an objection. 4) โ€œIโ€™m not sure about 6 or 12 months.โ€ This isnโ€™t about time. Itโ€™s about uncertainty. If they canโ€™t picture what those months look like, the commitment feels huge. Fix it by giving them a simple roadmap that gets them excited about their dream outcome. When they can see the path, they stop fearing the timeline. 5) โ€œI donโ€™t like working out.โ€

@Tae woo Kim i'd follow up by asking more questions to isolate the objection. For example, "when someone says s/he needs to think about it, it usually comes down to price or whether you think we'd be a good fit. Which one is it for you?" THEN isolate, circle the wagons as Sal says and close!

@Tae woo Kim another approach i actually used (but just warning you its very direct is... "all due respect, (name), you've been thinking about it for 20 years, lol. What are you really worried about?" once you uncover the REAL problem, isolate and close! We can practice these during our next Legacy Coaching Call if youd like!
