Beating a 3100 Yoseph Taher (IM)
OMG! I actually just beat a 3100-rated IM! 🤯🔥 I am still in total shock. I just played IM Yoseph Taher, and the game was a complete rollercoaster. When I saw the "IM" next to his name and that 3101 bullet rating, I got super nervous. I also impose quite a bit on time, so I was trying to play way faster than usual just to keep up. The game was quite chaotic and I definitely could’ve played much better, but I somehow pulled off a win by time! I won because of a time scramble blunder at the end, but hey, a win is a win—especially against a titled player of this level! I beat him in the very first game we played. Even though he took the next few (he's 3100 for a reason!), I’m so happy I managed to get a win. He has literally beaten Magnus Carlsen and Hikaru Nakamura before, which makes this feel even more unreal. 💀 Beating a titled player was my big goal for this year, and I actually did it against a 3100 IM. I’ll take a win like that any day! Goal officially reached! 🛸🥊 https://www.chess.com/game/live/160207645609?username=yosephtaher
