I've been thinking about getting a subscription for a while, but I'm not sure if it'll actually help. I'm currently rated 500 on rapid, is it worth it?
Hell no, chessly is just levys courses about openings that you can find for free everywhere else, doesnt contain any real value. I would get personal coaching instead if you want to invest money
@Nevin Godin-Martin You can find it for free online, even chess.com and lichess has lessons about endgames, tactics, openings etc, no need to buy his or anyone elses courses. Investing those 50$ into a personal coaching session is so much better, he can point out your flaws in games and tell you exactly what to focus on, its not even a comparison. Maybe I just didnt improve from them and it works for others, but no way theyre better than coaching
Wish me luck, only a couple games away from newest peak. Anyone higher leave some underrated advice thay you learned while being at that rating, would appreciate it
After a while I finally got 1500 in blitz! I kid you not, blunders still happen in almost every game and I sometimes fail to punish them but in blitz its difficult to take your time and think.
