Took my daughter out for 1.5 hr to local park to start with just chipped some soft easy shots to get her going ! Then asked how much and do you still want to try and be a pro keeper ? She said yes so I said we are going to try some new techniques, so pickling up and blocking the ball with her hands to stop 🛑 going through the legs , so rolled ball in form close range standing up and down on 1 knee and switch sides… got to about 4 on each side and the moans started coming in and I can’t do it anymore , so tried to explain that we need to work on things and some stuff is not going to be really exciting but is so important to learn how to do different techniques, she keeps saying her knees are sore , so hopefully with new gloves 3 1/4 length padded bottoms will help her to slowly improve ??? Just wondering the tutorial videos are these good for young kids or more for adults ? Any help and advice would be appreciated!!

@Jessica Edwards In in the same boat but with a 9 year old daughter and she keeps asking me will I be a professional goal keeper still? I keep saying you still have a lot to learn but your doing well as I don’t want to break her heart ❤️ any other advice would be great too
