๐Ÿšจ Introducing: The HYROX Station Challenge
Hey Guys...there is something new coming to skool this Feb... Each month inside Hybrid Racer, we will: - Pick ONE HYROX station - Spend a full month training it properly - Build from test โ†’ progress โ†’ retest No random workouts No junk volume No guessing Just a structured progression designed to make that station feel manageable on race day. How it works: - You start with a baseline test - You train the station through daily posted sessions in the classroom - You finish with a retest - Leaderboard updated monthly This isnโ€™t just about getting better at the station. It carries over to: - Fatigue resistance - Transitions - Running after the station - Overall race confidence Who this is for? If youโ€™ve ever thought: โ€œEverything was fineโ€ฆ until that station.โ€ This is for you. It is also going to consist of quick add-on drills that you can add to your current program no problem! February ๐Ÿ‘€ February will be the first Station Challenge. I already got the stations you struggle with in a previous post last week so we will announce the first station soon! Why weโ€™re doing this? HYROX isnโ€™t about being good at everything, it's about not falling apart at the wrong moment. Weekend workout
Iโ€™m sure I wont be the only one here who trains alone but tomorrow is my HYROX sim day (the only day i can get to a decent gym with all the kit needed). Whenever I do a Sim I always follow the weekly version in the program. This week is a doubles workout. So ill imagine my partner is working whilst i catch my breath on the stations. Usually I will give myself a 1:1 work rest ratio on each station snd try to split it up as i would with a training partner. Anyone else giving it a go? Ill drop my experience in here tomorrow!

@Tom Eastham I do exactly the same, but if I'm feeling particularly strong during a sim I might restrict my rest a little more. Simulating being with a slightly stronger partner and also trying to push that little harder on the initial start of the stations/ run. Another way I've played with partner sessions is changing when I rest... sometimes straight after a run or going straight into the station after the run. Meaning at the end of the station I'm either going straight into the run or resting just before the run. Helps change things up a little ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ

40+ Ran through this at 54:20 in commercial gym where you can't run between stations. Would be nice to see how everyone got on with this... sub 50 is definitely on the cards
