DAY 11 Speaking Challenge - OWN vs OPP
Pete Vargas from Grant Cardone's 10x Stages talks about the difference between OPS & OWN, Other People Stages, and your OWN stages. He argues that it doesn't matter if you are getting paid to speak, because you should have the ability to inspire or produce income from the stage, or both. Day 11 is about making a decision. OPS (Other People’s Stages) or OWN (Your Own Stage), and the difference is simple: OPS is borrowed authority, OWN is built authority. OPS means you step into someone else’s room, conferences, podcasts, churches, and corporate events, and leverage their audience. OWN means you create the room, a workshop, a masterclass, a panel, a meetup, a virtual summit, and position yourself as the host and authority. Overtime you can do both, but I'm looking to see what you will do in the next 30 Days. Its the difference between getting booked to speak on someone's stage or event vs creating your own event and sharing your talk. On this Day 11 of the challenge, I'm asking you... 👉 In the next 30 days, are you committing to: A) Get on 3 OPS stages or B) Create 1 OWN stage No floating. No “I’ll see what happens.” Pick your lane. Then: OPS = Make a target list of 20 events and start outreach. OWN = Pick a date and announce it within 72 hours. MAKE A PLAY TODAY and in the comments share your list of 20 or your live event date.

@Chantal Dempsey Excellent!
My B.O.S.S. One Pager
Hi Playmakers... Happy New Day! I am sharing here the one-pager that I created to share with women in corporate who are seeking to exit within the next 6-24 months. It gives them an overview of the program.

What’s your number?
Hey everyone we will get back to finish the next 9 days of the speaking challenge but I just had a life altering 2 weeks and I’d like share a few lessons learned from it… But let’s start here. View the photo below, and assuming that it is true that these are 12 essentials habits to enhance your life. COMMENT BELOW: How many of these are you consistently engaged in? Which 1 would you like to add or improve in by doing consistently staying next month?

@Dwight Riddick This needs more emojis than a thumbs up. I wanted to laugh and not do a thumbs up at the 6/7 comment.🤣

Transparency On accountability ☹️🫣
Long post and confession alert 🚨‼️ The photo below is a late payment I made today that was due on Jan 5. That same amount has been due on the 5th of the month every since Sept 2025 and runs up until Sept 2026… It’s for a high ticket coach that I prayed about and connected with going into the year that I believe can help me move my coaching and speaking businesses from a meager mid 6 figures to finally crossing the million or multi-million dollar mark. To be clear that’s not extra money I’m sending… that is sacrificial, idk where it comes from each month, it hurts to click send, it makes me blush to read and squint to consider, that is “cost me a lot”… type of money I’m sending. The thing is, I started strong at first, but for the last 3 months I haven’t been on the group calls, hadn’t scheduled 1:1 calls, hadn’t logged into the course work, didn’t make the in person sessions, and haven’t even listened to their podcast… but you know what… the finance person called every Month and said hey, you missed your payment when can you send it, and the coach would email and say, we missed you on this months call, how can we best serve you… and every month I’d send this same amount even if late and still not lock in… and you know I’ve learned…? 1) money coming out of the account is accountability. Because when I sent that late payment today and realized I have another coming next week and I only have limited months left to go… I said to myself, I GOTTA LOCK-IN! Remember, people pay attention to what they pay for. 2) A coach can offer help but you have to have your own motivation to seek and accept it. So if you have clients who are not maximizing use of your programs don’t beat yourself up… you made the offer and that’s the best we can do sometimes. Also, I’m here for you but I can’t help if you don’t commit to swing engaged and doing the work. So keep making plays. 3) Good life transforming advice should cost. You can charge your prices because of the price you have paid… because of all you know and all you are learning. David said in the Bible, I will not offer a sacrifice that cost me nothing… and you should stand on your prices because even in my absence I have not been offered a discount or a gracious “you don’t have to pay this month since you didn’t use our services” , lol. Nope, not at all

Whew! This hits home on so many levels. 1. Where your treasure is there your heart will be, right? Boy! I look at my budget every week to determine who gets my money next. 2. This speaks to the fact that our Master Coach, Dwight, is still getting coached. My theory: Coaches need coaches! 3. We can relate to missing an appointment, not completing that play or task, not following up and doing what we committed to...good news: Jesus gives us mercy to reset, refresh and start again.

Haha songs sometimes pop in my head. Words of the late Aaliyah, "If at first you don't succeed, dust yourself off and try again."
