Here's my render for the IEM project, render in blender, added some reflectors to define the shape a bit more with light. It was surprisingly simple to do the ear tips. Some topo was broken after export but easy fix in blender when you know what you're doing. Thank you Dr. Nikita

Here are a few more renderings of my first Plasticity project. As I wrote in my first entry here, all renders are done in Blender using Cycles. Hope U like'm.

I really got excited after work today and made this with watching 1% of the iphone course. I used the cutting trick we used in the Apple Watch video for the antenna cutout. I used curves to trace the logo, and the rest......... well it manifested itself 😅 I had fun with it. Wasted time with things that never made it in the final render. Screws, mesh, lenses. I think I may do a second pass for details, but I think it looks great as it stands.

Was fun, deform was frustrating but we make it work. (PS: my secret sauce is photoshop camera raw filter). I think the best part was Nikita just enjoying the process and having fun with it. It's rare to find people who can be serious, and also their honest self at the same time.
