What Branded Products Do People Actually Keep?
If you want people to keep a branded product -- merch you've spent time and money developing and producing -- usefulness matters. ASI’s 2026 Global Ad Impressions Study found that 78% of U.S. consumers would keep a promotional product because it’s useful. But “useful” is only the starting line. A power bank is useful. A notebook is useful. A water bottle is useful. That doesn’t automatically make any of them the right product for your business. The better question is: why does it make sense that this came from you? The strongest products connect usefulness to your audience, your work and the moment the product shows up. A tool that helps a client use your process after a session has a different job than a giveaway designed to bring someone to a conference booth. Before you order merch, ask where the product will be six months from now. If you can picture exactly when and why they’ll reach for it, you’re getting somewhere. Join my free Skool community, Get Your Merch Made, and bring the product you’re considering. We’ll put it through the Junk Drawer Test before you order.

This post is for celebrating someone else. 😊

This Just In - Growth Boost Update
In today's PERSONALS we had an interesting discussion about Growth Boost and what everyone is seeing and how they are adjusting. The question of running your own ads came up and how that plays into your Growth Boost Efficiency Score. There was quite a bit of confusion (at least on my part)! Sam Ovens has just confirmed that there are four things they look at to get your Efficiency Score (which determines how much ad spend they push to your community): traffic, conversion rate, price, and retention. While it's not necessary to run your own ads, doing so can affect your efficiency score because the ads will (hopefully) drive more traffic and (if they convert well) will show Skool more quickly that you are an "efficient" community. So...what does that mean for us? I'm honestly not too sure yet, but it's definitely looking like Growth Boost is here to stay. Ultimately, though, this is just one driver of traffic and definitely not one to depend on for the majority of your traffic growth. The decisions you make for your community (IMHO) should be based on what is going to get the best results for your members and what will help you to monetize the most effectively. Both of those factors require a taking into consideration a multitude of factors, of which Growth Boost is just one. Ready to succeed on Skool and still have a SUMMER?
Did you come to Skool dreaming of $25K months? Maybe six-figure seasons from a community-based business? I feel you. From 2009 to 2015, I was running wild, making offers, hosting hotel events, and booking clients into my in-person 1800 sq ft studio. I was getting tired. In 2016, I was looking for a better way. That July was my first $25k month ONLINE!! I remember opening my first membership, built around a $39 digital product. I added a weekly call and bundled it into a community. That generated $10k in cash within 72 hours and led to my first $25k month. ($28,158 with 722 signups) That one community scaled to a seven-figure business. That one digital product at $39 has made more than $500K all on its own. It’s still running. For the first time ever, I’ve partnered with one of my favorite Skool Growth Operators on the platform to bring you our best wisdom. She’s supported Skool Games winners to $10k months. And she was right alongside me as we added 1,000 members in just two months. We are #7 in MONEY and have held that position for months now. @Jenna Kelly has been with us the whole time. I know you can’t all hire her 1:1, so we’re offering this small-group experience with 8 weeks of clinics and support, customized to your community. Our goal is to raise $5k for your community this summer. We will show you how to make the most of your Skool tools and maximize your traffic for perfect-fit clients. Plus, wait til you experience our DM strategies and non-pushy skills for getting people to ASK YOU how they pay. Bonus: You get my $397/m VIP TIER included when you join this summer. AND my full suite CRM (normally $197/m) is included too. Are you ready for $1,188 of bonuses? Thinking you’d like my seven-figure business-building brain working alongside one of the best Skool Growth Operators out there? This SUMMER SUCCESS LAB is for you.
