Day 5 doesn’t have a prompt to write in here but it keeps me accountable so here I am. 😊 My #1 interrupt is movement for sure. Walk, stretch, just standing up and going to another room helps clear the garbage out. Sometimes if I do some dishes or another small task that I can finish, I can use that as a way to “accomplish a task” and start feeling better. The feeling of checking stuff off my list gives me a boost. Anchor is my next choice. I’ve listened to Amy’s podcast with Ed Mylett a bunch of times. He talks about anchors. My anchor at the gym is snapping my fingers and it almost instantly gets me into a peak state now. It’s kind of like magic. (Go listen to the podcast for the full story on anchors.) I found that if I do that at home when I need to focus and get something done that it works there too! If I can’t move around or make noise then breathing it is! I do a lot of Wim Hof breathing so I’ll tap into that.

This would be part of day 10, but I just came up with a new one. Part of my struggle is the loop of "this candy bar doesn't matter. this extra bite of whatever doesn't matter and that I'll get back on tomorrow". While driving today I came up with "Today matters. This decision matters. I matter." Then I got really emotional. I think this is going to be a good one for me.

@Aimee Kinsley Whoa! "My worth is not a reward..." So powerful!
ReWiring Journal option
It might be a bit late, but if anyone is looking for a basic composition book to use for their ReWiring journaling, I've been buying some cool ones off Amazon that are made by Mad Hatter Stationeries - I like them because they're wide ruled and the covers are really unique. In fact, I buy several at a time and give them to my kids whenever they start a new project. For example, my youngest will be going to a phlebotomy course this summer, so I'm getting her one with a drawing of a heart with flowers growing out of it 😄 and my oldest is starting to raise quail, so I'm getting her one with quails so she can keep notes on them. https://www.amazon.com/stores/author/B08KGL9NM8/allbooks?ingress=0&visitId=08ec74c6-dee2-47ac-8cc6-b723ea450cbf&ccs_id=6d502897-a0ba-4482-af29-3c2380cf534a

There are some really interesting covers including the quail one. I didn't see the heart one - I'm sure it's just as cool. Thanks for sharing.
