Pinned Post Update 😅 - Video Working Now...
Thanks for all the comments and opinions shared yesterday! I’ve attached a video with my take on the conversation as well as an update on how I’ll be handling pinned posts in the future. 😊 Looking forward to connecting with you all in our last PERSONALS Meet and Greet of 2025 tomorrow! 😊 We’re recording what you do and how you help people with your skills, talents, and expertise, and the recording will be shared with the whole group! Thanks again for helping me think this through. I always appreciate the input of the group. 😊

💸💝 If your budget doesn’t include FUN, it wont last 😭
(Your Budget NEEDS a FUN Category) In January, I’m guiding a small group of women through a month of tracking spending. ⛔️ no judgement ⛔️ no tightening belts 🔮 just honest awareness 💸💝 Everyone will be gifted a lush spending tracker/money diary that helps you see not just what you’re spending, but WHY you’re spending it, which is often the missing piece. At the end of the month, I’ll be coaching around the pattern spotting, because that’s where things really click. When you can see your patterns clearly, you can BUILD A BUDGET that actually supports you for the rest of the year. And yes, it will have a FUN category. The aim is steadiness - SMOOTHING the rollercoaster so money feels less emotionally exhausting and more supportive of both safety and joy. Come get comfy before the year ends.

💸 Money Myths at 50 🎉 (no, it's not too late!)
I turned 50 yesterday 🎂 One year ago, on my 49th birthday, I woke up in a full-blown panic. My head had been firmly in the sand and I had no real sense of whether Future Me was going to be OK. So I did something uncomfortable: I looked. Properly 👀 And I’m in a significantly better place now than I was just one year ago. Over the last year, here are the five things that made the biggest difference: 1️⃣ I examined my money mindset — the stories, shame, and avoidance I’d absorbed 2️⃣ I got clear on my actual numbers (messy, imperfect, but real) 3️⃣ I learnt a bit about investing — because I had never been taught 4️⃣ I built an emergency fund, so I stopped yo-yoing in and out of stress and debt 5️⃣ I started paying myself first — because no one else was going to look after future me None of this required being “good with money.” I just needed to get educated and get started. Midlife is NOT too late to sort your finances out, it's actually a powerful moment to take control - with more wisdom and more perspective. I have a community for women who want 2026 to be the year money stops being a source of anxiety and starts becoming a source of safety. Come join us!

@Mary Wilmer I have a feeling you will do exactly that! ✨ Same here - I'm loving Skool! I see a vision of 2026 where we are all coming to Skool for ... everything really.... Yoga, Business training, dog training, mindset, health, painting classes - you name it! And I hope that women will be coming to me to get a handle on their money - to build their safety net, get educated and invest for their future 💥

Why only one post a day?
I’ve been asked why I limit the posting in this group to once a day, and the answer is for the same reason that I limit how much I personally post in this group each day (I try really hard to limit myself to 2!)…. It’s to protect your visibility. The goal of this group is to help you become as visible as possible. If people are able to post as often as they want, one person could easily clog the feed with their own posts and push everyone else down to lower pages. By limiting everyone to one post a day, everyone gets time on the first page, the quality of the posts goes up, and the overall feel is more conversational and less spammy. Thoughts???

MYTH: Midlife women are broken and need to be fixed
Nope. Hard stop. This idea needs to be retired with low rise jeans. WAIT... I like low rise jeans...bahahaha! Here’s the truth: Midlife isn’t a crisis. It’s a clarifier. We’re not falling apart, we’re waking up. We’re shedding old roles, old expectations, and old emotional baggage we never signed up to carry. Midlife doesn’t break us. It shows us who we actually are. Women in midlife aren’t fragile. We’re powerful, aware, honest, and done pretending everything is fine when it isn’t. If anything, this is the moment in life when we finally get to rebuild on our own terms—with clarity, courage, and a whole lot less people pleasing. If this speaks to you, come hang out in my Courage Collective. We’re building a community where midlife women rise together, without fixing, forcing, or faking anything.
