Yes, another name change, sorry folks. This community is now called GrowthKit, as well as a fancy rebrand, you'll also find a new course... The GrowthKit system This new course is a step by step playbook, designed to help you to put all the pieces together to supergrow your business. This system is HUGE and covers a lot of ground is 30+ short videos, so dive in and let me know what you think. Below you'll find the new onboarding video, check it out! P.S. don't go looking for mentions of 2x Emails, as this is in transition and will take me a few days to update everything, but I wanted to jump in now in case you logged in and went... huh?!

A NEW COURSE (and a story)
Just added the ORIGINAL Chimp Essentials course by Paul Jarvis to the classroom. Why? Here's a little story in a few bulletpoints... - For most folk back in the day, Paul Jarvis was seen as the go-to Mailchimp expert - He launched this course back in 2016, and updated it to this version in 2021 - This course made Paul Jarvis over $200k per year in revenue (ref) - I reached out to Paul in 2021, knowing he was focusing on his new analytics tool Fathom Analytics - I proposed an offer and acquired the Chimp Essentials course, brand, website etc from him - I rebranded my mostly-Mailchimp-focused agency MailNinja to Chimp Essentials and bundled in support, coaching etc to the course - I recruited a trainer and re-recorded the course, and added more deep dive courses - I then sold the Chimp Essentials brand and new course library - I retained ownership of the original Ok, you're now up to date. So why release this course? 1. I own it, it's sat there, so why not 2. Despite being YEARS out of date, the content still has huge value. The strategies and stuff Paul talks about is still relevant, even if Mailchimp's features and UI has changed a little So there you go. A free course. So, quick hack for you. Just sent out my latest newsletter, but forgot to mention my new affiliate program, so what did I do? I guess I could kick myself and cry, instead I just sent another email 10 mins later with 'Re:' at the start of the same subject line, and add the previous email below inside a quote box like I just hit reply in Gmail. One email, two shots. Here's the result:

Time for sure, but it's probably more strategy, as if I had a great strategy or system in place, I'd probably have things super optimised so I have more time! They're all connected.

Forget what everyone else is doing. Seriously. 🕵️‍♂️ - Your business isn’t the same as theirs. - Your audience isn’t the same as theirs. - Even your story isn’t the same. So why chase industry averages or copy competitors? You’re unique. Your email marketing should be too. Here’s the deal: - Test. - Learn. - Repeat. Find your sweet spot. What’s your best time to send? Where do your subscribers open emails? What makes your top-performing emails pop? Stop listening to “experts” (yes, even me 😉) and start listening to your data. Cos here’s the truth: no one knows your business like you do. Now go find what works. Pinky promise, it’s worth it. 💌

I agree with that, ignore the industry rates and instead look at where you are now, set KPIs to get better send by send. As you say Doug, every business is different
