Woke up this morning to 1,005 incredible action-takers inside this community. 🥹 WOW. I am so, so grateful for every single one of you. But this milestone isn't really about me... It’s a testament to your drive to grow something real & intentional in your own backyards. I CAN 👏 NOT 👏 WAIT 👏 to watch you crush your goals!! Which is about to get a 𝘸𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘰𝘭𝘦 lot easier come July 8th. Stay tuned 👀🌱

Took Bella for a walk despite the humidity and bugs and found a beautiful blueberry patch! My purple potatoes look so luscious! Some of my seedlings i started have bounced back and look good others not so much but it is what it is this year. Hopefully next year goes better after seeing everything in motion this year. Can’t believe the rhubarb is flourishing like it is! Two harvest off them and they look too good! My strawberries are starting to develop! Cant wait to try them! Peas are slowly getting there, no flowers yet. Question-when should i stop harvesting the rhubarb to let it save energy for winter? Should i let it flower after I’m done harvesting or should i continue to chop the flower stalks?

And now I'm dropping hints 😉 This community is about to change in a 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆. 𝗯𝗶𝗴. 𝘄𝗮𝘆. I am so incredibly excited because this shift is going to open up so many possibilities, break down barriers, and make it 𝘴𝘰 much easier for you to learn and experience the garden of your dreams. I’m not quite ready to pull back the curtain just yet, but I promise it's going to change the game for how we grow together. I have been trying to get a pic of the momma bird on the nest. 1st pic I discovered she laid another egg. Video well I will let u see for yourself.

When I searched this, they say it is dog vomit fungus? And, it means I have good soil? It sure looks horrible and it’s appeared in two of my beds this spring. Was in my tomato bed also. My beds consist of a layer of cardboard, twigs and leaves from a pile of downed trees and branches in my yard, last years soil from five gallon buckets, then I topped with Miracle grow Organic Raised Bed soil. When I planted, I added homemade compost and composted manure and a sprinkle of fertilizer and or bone meal. I guess if this fungus means healthy soil, My hours and hours and hours of researching and watching homesteading and garden videos are paying off. lol
