Italy in the Summer
I'm off to a small town in coastal Italy this June. I want to pack light but look my best for a 53 year old. Of course, my Panama is coming. What's in style this summer for ridiculous heat in Italy if you just want to look like a well dressed local, rather than a tourist? I'm thinking linen. Draw string trousers. Classic Oxford shirts. Stone, and related colours. Maybe one black or dark blue, though blue doesn't suit me. Further advice would be great.

Is there a regional difference for what a well dressed local looks rather than a tourist. In my experience, local italiens at the coast will wear speedos, and that's about it. A well dressed man (independent of the region) will dress in light fabrics, like linen. A tourist (independent of the region) will wear clothes that don't fit because not used to travel and something with lots of pockets, like cargo shorts. IMO only.
Style Battle: Chelsea Boots vs White Sneakers (Pick One & Why)
You can only keep one. Option 1: Chelsea Boots - Clean, masculine, versatile, sharper look, works great dressed up. Option 2: White Sneakers - Minimal, modern, easy to wear, casual staple, works with almost everything. So which one deserves a permanent spot in a man’s wardrobe? Chelsea boots or white sneakers? Make your case: Which gives more value, more versatility, and makes the bigger difference in how a man looks? Bonus question: What age range do you think each one works best for?

White sneakers have become the norm in central-west europe, you see them on CEOs, on broadcasting people, even on bank-clerks. Also I have not found chelsea boots yet that don't look clumpsy on my big feet.
Sunglasses
I haven't been active for a while, sorry, if I'm not all updated. However I have a question: Now that summer is approaching in lightspeed, I'm in need of a new pair of sunglasses. Do the style-gurus here can give me good recommandations what shapes and colors are a good look? I know I can try on sunglasses virtualy online with a camera. But I don't trust my own taste too much. Update that I have ordered some aviators and wayfarers. Tips stil welcomed.

@Steven Hotchkiss Daniel Craig is one of my fashion role models (skin and hair tones + James Bond). In the pic below he wears almost the mentionned classes. But I think I have a loger face than he does. And I ordered some aviators and wayfarers yesterday evening. But thank you, appreciate it
Outfit for the day!
I’m visiting my aging Aunt and Uncle to check on them before I head back to the cold. Had to pick an all encompassing outfit for the day that will include a nice dinner this evening. This is what I came up with.

Nice shoes!
How many of us gentlemen have one?? The very VERY helpful valet...
I remember as a little kid my mother either telling me to or laying my clothes out for the next day for me/myself. I had first seen valets in my early twenties and again in my mid thirties and just some years ago a friend gave me one and I really really like it so I think I want to upgrade in the not-too-distant future. Do yous guys have one and what does it look like. I'd like to build my own so I'm lookin' at ideas. Thanks in advance, gentleman.

I use a Finnlo 45 degree back extention, the one in the picture. It does a great service. I used a bigger Rogue Scout Hyperextention before, but had to save some space. (I always wanted a valet, but everytime I see one, I shy back, because of the space it takes up.)
