How many of us gentlemen have one?? The very VERY helpful valet...
I remember as a little kid my mother either telling me to or laying my clothes out for the next day for me/myself. I had first seen valets in my early twenties and again in my mid thirties and just some years ago a friend gave me one and I really really like it so I think I want to upgrade in the not-too-distant future. Do yous guys have one and what does it look like. I'd like to build my own so I'm lookin' at ideas. Thanks in advance, gentleman.

For the past 30 plus years I set goals and tasks monthly in 7 life areas FAITH FAMILY FRIENDS FIRM FINANCES FITNESS FUN This concept I learned from Ron Jensen’s book: Make a life, not just a living. One of the ideas in that book is the illusion of control that each of us has where we have unlimited willpower to bend our bad habits into good ones or we have absolute freedom or capacity to ignore distractions. This is completely absurd. This is why new year resolutions fail within weeks if not days. The secret I learned from Jensen was that life doesn’t “settle down”. Quiet restful life is the exception not the norm. We think we are like a marble inside a bowl that has been spun around, and eventually we will settle to the bottom and rest. In reality life is more like a marble on top of a bowl and we must A) accept that truth and B) be very intentional with our leisure time. Far too deep of a topic to do in this post. But I challenge all of us in 2026 to be more intentional with our greatest gift: time

Great post @Brian McGuire , thanks for making me slow down to think for a minute. So,I'm 45 and just realized the other day that I'll be 50 in 5 years!!! FIVE YEARS!!! I sometimes wonder what may have happened if I hadn't had a stroke 17.5 years ago and I kept going on that path and really I think I'd be not doing as well as I am now. Life MADE ME slow the F down REALLY fast, I had to waste about a decade battling and coming out of depression. Anyway, my point is is that I didn't have a choice but to just let myself do life at my own pace or at the pace of life. Someone told me the other month that I'll have "a great second act" and I thought "second act? I've not even done my FIRST act yet!!" so yes, we should all take time to conside the time we spend not just with others, our occupations, our falmilies etc. etc. but we should really be intentional with the time we spend with ourselves. OK, that got a bit long...apologies.
Ascot(s)?
Does anyone wear an ascot? I'm not really considering it for myself but would like to know if any of you fine gentlemen wear or have worn an ascot??🤔🤔

@Dale L. Robert Mostly curiosity though I have seen them being donned on a few guys when I posated this; I thought it looked sorta sharp.

@Floyd Bailey Do you don them regularly?

Yesterday I had to bust out the Dodger jersey since we are going to the World Series again! Paired with trucker jacket and Raymond Weil Tango squared watch. Let's go Dodgers!

They better not f*ck this up!!!
I've been a James Bond fan since an uncle took me to see A view to a kill in the theater (Yeah, I know some of our younger guys might not know that that is how movies used to be seen.)anyway, I have always had a "Mancrush" on James Bond since he was played by Roger Moore who, while my first/introduction to James Bond is actually not my favorite. That will always be Sean Connery with Pierce Brosnan a close second and the last/most recent one (Daniel Craig) rounding out my top 3 favorite Bond actors, anyway if there are any other Bond fans who are as excited about the next Bond 007 this was a good read and doesn't seem as terrible as it sounded when it was fresh news that Barbara Broccoli sold the rights to Amazon/MGM https://www.mensjournal.com/entertainment/james-bond-26-release-date-cast-title-plot

@Scott Brown Can't say I blame ya, I'm not exactly enthused but I'm hopeful nonetheless. I was just saying with a friend the other day that there is SO little originality in movies/show business the last 20+ years. It's...SAD
