Italy in the Summer
I'm off to a small town in coastal Italy this June. I want to pack light but look my best for a 53 year old. Of course, my Panama is coming. What's in style this summer for ridiculous heat in Italy if you just want to look like a well dressed local, rather than a tourist? I'm thinking linen. Draw string trousers. Classic Oxford shirts. Stone, and related colours. Maybe one black or dark blue, though blue doesn't suit me. Further advice would be great.

Sling bag vs messenger bag???
I’m in my early 40’s and have gotten to a point where I don’t like a lot of stuff in my pockets. I don’t like the look of bulky pockets and my wallet leaves a mark on them wearing out a spot. I also started needing more stuff when I’m out and about so I have a very cheap sling bag off amazon at the moment and looking for something new. What do you guys think about a man wearing a sling or messenger bag? Does it look dumb and if not which one do you prefer and why?

Osprey of London (not the hiking bags). I pair it with a light jacket.

One might like to consider pickpockets being a problem, depending on the area.
What do you do to personalize?
It can be bold like a monogram or something subtle like a secret pocket in a jacket. What do you like to do to your clothes to make them "yours"?

Absolutely. I wrote a book on weigthloss. It's about changing lifestyle, which makes it effortless to maintain. Same with style. Consistent lifestyle change makes looking good effortless.
Time To Turn The Tables
You know when you go and apply for a job and they will ask for three references. I think I am going to start doing the same to them, I am going to start asking for references from three happy employees.🤣🤣

I ask companies if they are solvent in my first interview - or something like that. I call it due diligence.
