There is always a need to improve our production speed and efficiency when it comes to our content creation and video production. And there is nothing more valuable to this process, than saving time. Some of the reasons I didn’t jump on YouTube sooner is because I was embarrassed or unsure that my home was good enough. There was, like a decade, where I felt everyone had this minimalist white home and mine wasn’t up to snuff. I’m embarrassed to even say this because I’m a confident person, but it’s true. But then there was this shift and people started to have actual lived in homes, with their own personality. Plus the ideas of thrifting, under buying, cozy core, using what you have recently started to emerge. I finally felt ok about my loved in spaces. My home is a 187 year old 600 square foot cottage in the woods. It still or constantly needs repairs. It’s far from perfect. But I’ve always loved it. I just didn’t feel comfortable sharing it. Also… YouTube is having this renaissance around you are your niche and that kind of authenticity is magic! That’s my total jam. Have you ever experienced this? How do you feel about sharing your spaces on camera?

Here are the current stats: CTR has decreased from 12.06 to 7.5 AVD has dropped way down from 8:02 to 3.21 (this is the result of my rambling Im sure! Has added 18 subscribers Has gotten 24 comments with multiple replies to my replies on top of that! Is at about 1258 views And a first - has been shared 4 times! But the banger is it has amassed 72 WTH in about a day and a half!!! So that's what this feels like. I can only imagine how it will feel when I have one actually blow up! Just keep posting folks! It will happen eventually if we just keep applying what we learn and dont give up!

Please don't take my exuberation as bragging, because I have nothing to brag about. I am just super excited to finally seeing some currency for my actions! Only 100 more to go to reach that elusive first 1000 Subscribers! Then its going to be head down and trying to crank up those watch time hours!

Hey! How goes it? I'm a friendly easy going Canadian, who collects vintage and modern toys. I've taken my hobby and turned it into my YouTube channel. I focus on long form content, but do post shorts as well. Currently I have 2800 subscribers, but still having issues getting to that 4000 watch hours mark. I had one video go semi-viral early on, and had made it to 3.8K watch hours, but as I was still new to YouTube at the time, I couldn't get it over 4K before the rolling year erased that video. So currently I'm trying to get my watch hours up. I post at 1 Long form and 1 short every week, as well I've started a Podcast that I post once a month, which is of longer length than my normal videos. Long story short, I'm enjoying my YouTube journey.
