I am getting an error when adding customers. As I don't think guests are the right way to go at the moment. What are the differences between guests and customers? Rovo isn't helpful enough as to fix this error TYBZ1H. How to assist the JSM service desk team to be able to add external participants therefore? Any tips, please?

JSM
Adding external participants
Which setting is to be adjusted, as for CarSales JSM team to be able to add or adjust participants. I've opened the site, I've opened the JSM, I think it's under security scheme, this setting. And what role would I need to give them? For the moment two have servicedesk Agent, as they work with me. I have admin on the whole thing. But when these two try add a colleague or external email, it blanks out, for some reason. I will be checking the.permission helper later on. And I am going thru some more admin portal settings. Any advise? -Anyone can raise a ticket for carsale insurance quote (via email) -This anyone is adding his family. We want to sometimes change participants and or requester. Would appreciate a pointer what else to configure or adjust.

Atlassian Gov Cloud to Commercial Cloud
Hi all, I've got a unicorn scenario and was wondering if anyone knows anything about potential of migration from Gov Cloud to Commercial Cloud. This scenario is apparently unlikely based the fact that organizations tend to move from looser to stricter compliance environments. Atlassian seems to reflect this by having various guides covering cloud to agov, dc to agov, agov to agov, but nothing in the opposite direction.

I am guessing this is a no-brainer or less convoluted... Maybe even possible to do 1:1 migration and the restrictions would fall off. You mostly migrate workflows, users and groups, security& permissions, no?
Recommendations and Guidance
Hi Atlassian Community, I’m don’t know if this is the right place to ask. Apologies in advance, happy for advice and guidance. I’ve spent several years working extensively with Atlassian Data Center environments across Jira and Confluence, covering upgrades, migrations, integrations, platform engineering, security governance, risk, controls, and operational support within complex enterprise environments. Recently, my role was made redundant as part of organisational changes, and I’m currently exploring new opportunities within the Atlassian ecosystem. One thing I’m actively trying to understand is how best to position and showcase deep Data Center experience in today’s increasingly cloud-focused market. A lot of organisations understandably prioritise Atlassian Cloud experience, but for those who have successfully navigated this transition, I’d genuinely value your perspective: - How are you positioning your Data Center expertise today? - Which aspects of DC experience resonate most with employers hiring for modern Atlassian roles? - What cloud capabilities should experienced DC engineers prioritise first? - Are organisations still valuing hybrid or transformation experience during cloud migration journeys? Would really appreciate guidance, industry perspective, or advice from others in the community who’ve gone through a similar transition. Also happy to connect with teams or professionals working in enterprise Atlassian transformation, governance, migration, or platform engineering spaces. Regards

There are companies hiring experts for transformation and migrations. Focus on finding them

Jira
Distribution list email link to Request
Have you ever worked with multiple projects and multiple emails ? We have several projects, and as we're optimising. I'd want to set up one project and associate distribution list to request. Can't find any solid info on this (as these emails are without credentials). For other projects I want to associate a better email to each project. Ie. Let's say we have one space for new business, and I'd want new_business email (this time either shared or an email with credentials) to link, as to get incoming tickets straight from the emails. I believe this is handled by Incoming Mail , under Jira admin settings, and then to be adjusted in space settings, notification email. Am I correct? If there's a video tutorial, feel free to share. (That's the last piece of the puzzle before completion of a massive optimisation of Jira and I can move onto other priorities. Would appreciate any tips, guides or instructions as to faster implement this.)

@Shaun McGuire , I just deleted all apps. And used automations. There has to be a microsoft to jira (better) integration (and explanation).

I have received additional informations.. and I am able to use a ms user account. I disabled mfa. (Altho moved to shared mailbox now! And on Microsoft side I've used some mail flows, as to keep copies inside MS!) And when I try to add a mail server it's not Authenticated. It keeps failing to authenticate. Yet the mail handler was added successfully. Anyone could assist in troubleshooting? Would anyone be willing to have a conversation? Happy to pay for one hour, if needed. This is a major blocker at the moment.
