@Oscar D Oh…sorry I lived in STL when they left and I do not appear to have completely gotten over it yet 😂

@Oscar D you’re probably right about that. The city was not in good shape when I moved out, but now it is practically a ghost town.
A pleasant challenge
Ever since I started dressing more formally, green has been the color. I have most enjoyed playing around with. It is very easy to get wrong, but if you get it right, the results are fantastic. Obviously I am biased, but I think this is a good example of how well they can go together with a more earthen ensemble.

It is a very affordable piece. It came on a bracelet that I’m not a big fan of. But I think the strap was only $45 so that wasn’t much of a problem.

Wanted to wear my new Cinnamon Herring Bone tie, The Mayor Shoes - definately fits the bill with it.

I have never seen a dial like that. It is like looking at a freshly varnished, high quality table. Fantastic find.
Keeping it simple
Hard to go wrong with an elegant dress watch like this one. For what they charge, you get a lot of watch.

Tying it all together
There are two things that are essential to pulling a formal ensemble together. The first is a pocket square and the second is a good time piece. Cufflinks do not hurt either.

@Brett Sutton Agreed about $3k for a chronometer with a 5 day power supply. That is insane in my book
