Designing Your Attractive Character (by Russell Brunson)
This was from a private training I did with my Inner Circle a few years ago. The video and training never was seen after that by anyone, and I found it this week and thought that it would benefit a lot of you who are struggling to figure out how to design yourself as a character. Stephanie Dove Blake was on the original training, and afterwards dropped her takeaways (which are a pretty amazing summary of the video) - so here you go! ==== SO many incredible golden nuggets in this @Russell Brunson!Ā Thank you! šŸ‘ I thought I’d share my takeaways… šŸ‘‰ The value of education & info you provide will keep a customer for a few years… but the value a relationship with YOU will keep a customer for LIFE. šŸ‘‰ The majority of ones expertise is disseminated in the first year of a customer’s entry into your world…you can’t keep dispensing brand NEW info for the rest of your life… train on one thing in many ways. šŸ‘‰ Business isn’t about core info - it’s about characters. šŸ‘‰ We’re not in the info business, we’re in the RELATIONSHIP business. šŸ‘‰ Those who WIN at business realize that: Your business isn’t the products you create — your business is your HERD/TRIBE/PEOPLE.Ā They are the only business ASSET. šŸ‘‰ Know your market and make sure you have ā€œMessage to Market Matchā€ 🤩 Good, Fan-worthy Characters:Ā šŸ˜ - Can’t be boring - Have an origin story - Have a back story (what they did before) - Have parablesĀ  - Have experienced miracles - Have ā€œinsiderā€ languageĀ  - Have a measure of likabilityĀ  - They do likable things.Ā (This is why comics aren’t about the villains.) - Are good at what they do - Have overcome adversityĀ  - Are emotionally complex - Experience substantial change - Show their flaws - Have a position - Have a philosophyĀ  - Shows courage that others want to emulate - Share their likes/dislikes - Share their failures as well as their failures - Share their beliefs - Share their pathological behaviorsĀ  - Share their incompetencies - Share their religion/belief system - Share their significant life events - Share their envy/desire

This was very useful information for building your business. I will keep this in my hat as I move through the process. Thank you!
šŸ›©ļø The Bullet Hole Lesson
During WWII, engineers studied returning planes to see where they were getting shot. They almost reinforced the areas with the most bullet holes. Until one statistician said something brilliant: ā€œThose planes made it back. Don’t reinforce where they survived. Reinforce where they didn’t.ā€ The areas with no bullet holes were the real weak spots — because planes hit there never returned. That’s survivorship bias. We study winners and copy what we see. But we rarely study what caused others to disappear. Sometimes the lesson isn’t in what’s visible. It's in what’s missing. If that clicked for you, drop šŸ›©ļø below.

What a great way of thinking!
šŸ˜¶ā€šŸŒ«ļøOverwhelm is usually a sign you’re leveling up.ā¬†ļø
Every time I’ve stepped into something bigger, it felt chaotic at first.More information. More responsibility. More decisions. But clarity doesn’t come before action. It comes from it. The fog lifts when you move. šŸ˜¶ā€šŸŒ«ļøIf you’ve felt that this week, hit like so I know I’m not the only one.

Overwhelm can make you feel stuck as well. I believe the key to not getting overwhelmed is focusing on the Russell's strategy and the framework to get the results that you need. The clarity that you get from this lifts that fog so you can begin to see the bigger picture.
Hook, Story, Offer
Hook, Story, Offer Or even my favorite one Hook, Story, Secret 1, Secret 2, Secret 3, Offer Boom! All of social media is screaming out the formula over and over. Great stuff so far.

Learning this has helped my knowledge of how to sell to a new level. I now know the secret sauce that I have been missing. I'm excited to apply it in my business.
