Bottom end decisions
OK guys, I need some opinions about my 6.0L build. It was a core engine that I picked up cheap and ended up only being a collapsed lifter, everything else looks fine. I'm already going to be removing the rotating assembly to install new bearings, but at what point do I go with a better than stock rotating assembly? this is a Gen 4 engine, so I know the internals can handle a bit more in stock form, but at what point do I go ahead and start swapping parts out? its kind of turning into a "well, since I'm already here" type of thing, and I'm not sure that's warranted

Unless you are wanting more cubic inches or going boosted, I would keep the stock gen 4 rotating assembly. If you plan on pulling a camper, i would recommend staying N/A to keep heat at a minimum and invest that money into a solid transmission

That make really good power! Hell yeah
Project CTS V- is one step closer.
I got a really clean 07 CTS almost don't wanna take it apart. One step closer to the end goal of a 5,3 going in.

Sleeper CTSV! I would leave the CTS badges just for the humor lol. I spy a barndominium in the background! Looks sweet!!

I agree with Jared 110%, Corvette pedal and the PSI or Holley pedal bracket makes it super easy!

Another PSA - if you are running E85, make sure you are using a microglass element (stainless steel element). Cellulose (Paper) elements are only for pump gas!
