A quick note on courses & resources
You’ll see courses and resources listed in the Classroom. I’m building these out intentionally and will be publishing them over time, focusing on quality rather than rushing content. The community conversations, mindset support, and recruiting page are already here, and the more structured courses will be released gradually as they’re completed. Thanks for being here while this grows! I’m excited to build this with you!

A note for parents
If you’re a parent in this community, welcome. I know supporting an athlete can be exciting, stressful, and sometimes confusing, especially when it comes to confidence, pressure, and recruiting. This space is meant to support athletes as whole people, not just players. My goal is to help athletes build confidence, handle pressure in healthy ways, and make informed decisions while keeping communication honest, realistic, and athlete centered. You’re always welcome to read along, ask questions, or reach out if you’re unsure where to start.

Start Here for Mindset & Confidence
This space is for honest conversations around confidence, pressure, and the mental side of being an athlete. You don’t need to have everything figured out to be here. Use this space to reflect, ask questions, or just read and relate. Nothing you share has to be perfect. I’ll also be sharing mindset tips, tools, and ways to work through common challenges like confidence dips, pressure, comparison, and mistakes. If you want to join in, you can: • Share something you’re struggling with • Talk about confidence or pressure • Ask a mindset-related question This is meant to be supportive and safe space. I’m excited to have real conversations and help however I can with confidence, mindset, and mental growth.

Common Recruiting Myths That Hold Athletes Back
There’s a lot of misinformation around recruiting and believing the wrong things can slow the whole process down. Here are a few myths I see all the time. “If they want me, they’ll reach out first.” Most of the time, coaches expect athletes to reach out. Not hearing from a coach doesn’t mean they aren’t interested, it usually means they’re busy or haven’t seen you yet. There are a lot of athletes to look at. “No response means no interest.” Coaches get a lot of emails. A no response is not a no. It often just means timing, travel, or a full inbox. Follow-ups matter. “I’m bothering coaches.” You’re not. Recruiting is part of their job. Reaching out respectfully and professionally is exactly what they expect. “I’m not good enough yet.” This is one of the biggest myths in recruiting. A lot of athletes never even try because they assume they aren’t good enough for a certain level. I’ve seen players talk themselves out of recruiting altogether and some of them absolutely were good enough. Others would have been great fits at different levels or programs they never considered. Recruiting isn’t about one division or one label. There are strong, competitive, and well-supported programs across many levels, and a lot of athletes thrive once they find the right fit. The goal isn’t to chase a title or a level. It’s to find a place where you can grow, compete, and enjoy the experience. If you wait until you feel “good enough,” you might miss opportunities that were actually there for you. Recruiting is rarely linear. It takes patience, consistency, and learning along the way. If recruiting feels overwhelming right now, you’re not alone. Start where you are, take small steps, and adjust as you learn more.

Welcome to The Athlete Blueprint
This community is for athletes who want to build confidence, resilience, and the mental edge that shows up under pressure. Most examples here are soccer-based, but the mindset applies to athletes in any sport. Here’s how to use this space: If you’re a Free member, start in the Mindset & Confidence category. Read posts, join discussions, and get comfortable asking questions. If you’re a Premium or VIP member, head to the classroom for step-by-step guides and courses, including recruiting and highlight video resources. You don’t need to do everything at once. Take what’s useful, come back when you need it, and ask questions when they come up.

Recruiting Hub tab is now open. This is where you’ll find everything related to recruiting, including explanations of the different support options and course descriptions. If recruiting is something you’re thinking about now or in the future, this is a good place to start.
