A Little Christmas Momentum for Future Authors
As the year slows down and the noise quiets, this is your reminder that books are built in moments like this — when most people pause, but a few decide to plant seeds. Self-publishing isn’t about overnight success. It’s about choosing to create something meaningful, even when it feels small. A single idea. A rough outline. One page at a time. This season, don’t pressure yourself to “finish everything.” Instead, ask: ‱ What idea keeps tapping me on the shoulder? ‱ What story, message, or solution do I already carry? ‱ What would it look like to start — not perfectly, but honestly? Books change lives. Sometimes the reader is someone across the world. Sometimes it’s you six months from now, grateful you didn’t wait. So if all you do this week is open a document, write a title, or commit to your first chapter — that counts. Momentum loves small beginnings. Here’s to quiet progress, creative courage, and setting future you up for a powerful year ahead. ✹ You don’t need permission. You just need to start. ✹ Wishing Everyone a Very Merry Kristmas 🎄 Merry Christmas!!!!

@Krista Brea How did you see this book cover? I stumble upon it some days ago and decided to keep it

@Krista Brea, The cover was done by the Artist I just got. I guess, I'll hold him tight 😂
Hi dear readers, this is for you
This is no business but more a chance to come up with new ideas. I®ve been a freelance journalist now on the side for almost six years. The classic publisher/editor business is crumbling more and more by the day now. The more I®m happy about this community. It helps so much, because even though I can write it does not mean I can publish online successfully. For those of you who are trying to finde some inspiration, here is my substack page. It®s just a few month old and I rewrote texts I published this year or years ago. Pretty random, not fixed genre. Also some new stuff and some experiments trying to find my way into this substack thing. And by all marketing and money focus, don®t forget to put your soul between the lines. Nobody can steal that and no AI can generate that 😉 👉 So this one here maight be a good one on that: https://bigquestionstinymoments.substack.com/p/the-lost-power-of-a-single-sentence

This is such a genuine and refreshing take. Putting your soul between the lines is the ultimate differentiator, thank you for the reminder. As you explore Substack, you might find that narrowing your focus to one or two core niches can give your page a powerful sense of purpose. It doesn’t limit creativity; rather, it can amplify your unique voice and help you connect more deeply with readers looking exactly for what you offer. Excited to see where your experiments lead. Following along!
