That Metallica may be scheduling a residency at The Sphere in Las Vegas. If/when tickets go on sale, my wife and I are there. Also, I think The Sphere would be an amazing place for Iron Maiden to schedule a residency. Their stage shows and visual imagery could be reimagined exponentially! But I don’t know if it would be profitable enough for all parties involved. And I don’t know if Iron Maiden is interested in doing a residency, considering their massive support and ticket sales worldwide. BUT, if they do, I’ll be first in line for tickets… well, maybe not first in line, but I’ll be going 4IMPRINT CERTAIN!

Does anyone else suffer from buying guitars when they are way underpriced? I know I have enough guitars, but it’s so hard to turn down a super deal. Please tell me I’m not alone. Lately I’ve made a promise to myself that for every guitar I buy, I have to sell one. My latest buy, an Ibanez Acoustic Electric on FB Marketplace for $50. In return I sold my prized Gretsch for $450.

Got this squire when i was like 8 years old. Treated it like trash, then started learning guitar when I was about 16. Since then I’ve gotten a couple different guitars and moved on from it. One day I decided to completely rebuild it and see what I could make of it. All parts are from Temu, just to see what kinda sounds and looks they could deliver.. and honestly? they delivered hard. I’ll post tone if some people want :)

I have varied interests besides music and guitars. My guitar collection has doubled since the beginning of the year. But I also collect several other things. I used to collect sports cards and memorabilia. I still have my collection, but none of it is displayed. I may pull out a few of my prized possessions and display them, but I'm quickly running out of space. Here are some of the things currently on display in my office (or studio, or mancave... take your pick). Funko POPs -- currently limited to Funko POP Rocks! and Vegas Golden Knights figurines. I have a few more Iron Maiden POPs to get, some of them are a bit hard to find. I need two or three more to finish GnR, Ozzy, and AC/DC, and quite a few to finish Queen and KISS. I haven't started on the Hendrix line. I'm not sure if I will, due to space limitations. I think I have all the VGK figurines currently available, including the team's mascot, Chance. I initially planned to collect the Star Wars, Marvel, and GoT figurines, but there are just way too many of them -- I'm planning to sell or trade the few I have. I have a collection of POP keychains, mostly Marvel, with a few Star Wars and Incredibles items included, but I'm no longer actively collecting these. Some other things I collect are watches (especially pocket watches), resin pyramids, resin dragons, Tarot and Oracle cards, rocks, minerals, and crystals (my BS degree is in Geology), and Iron Maiden night lights (have many still to buy). I need a bigger office. So, tell me... besides guitars, stompboxes/pedals, what do you collect? Include photos if you can.
