New chapter of life
Starting tomorrow, I’m launching a public build journey. Goal: build and sell AI automation products/services to clients globally — and document everything openly inside this community. What I’ll be sharing: - AI automations I build - outreach experiments - client acquisition attempts - wins + failures - tools/workflows that actually work - pricing lessons - delivery systems - real-world use cases for businesses I’m not pretending to be a ā€œguru.ā€I’m starting with execution first and learning publicly. The focus is simple:Build useful AI systems that save businesses time, reduce manual work, or generate revenue. Initial areas I’m exploring: - AI chatbots - lead generation automations - workflow automation - AI content systems - CRM/process automation - internal business assistants I’ll post updates consistently starting tomorrow. If anyone here is already building in this space, I’d genuinely love to connect, exchange ideas, and learn from people actually doing the work. Let’s see where this goes

The Journey Story — Zero to first Ā£4,500 ConstructionX AI client
I’m 46. I spent 30 years on the tools. I joined Nate’s AIS Skool community in October last year. This morning a UK construction MD emailed me four words I’ll remember for the rest of my life: ā€œCan we proceed with phase-1 please.ā€ Here’s how it happened. Today, the MD of a UK construction firm emailed me four words I’ll remember for the rest of my life. ā€œCan we proceed with phase-1 please.ā€ Ā£4,500 Phase 1 build. 50% deposit on start, 50% on delivery, two-week go-live guarantee. Signed verbally Tuesday evening, confirmed in writing this morning. This is not a victory lap. This is a story for anyone in this community sitting where I was sitting back in October when I first showed up. If I can do this, you absolutely can. Here’s how it actually happened. Where I came from 30 years on the tools. 20 of them co-founding a construction firm that grew from 2 people to 70. I’m 46. I started teaching myself AI in early 2025. Properly self-taught. No degree, no tech background, just YouTube and reading and breaking things and fixing them. The timeline that matters for this room: - 23 June 2025 I joined Liam Ottley’s AAA Skool community. Still a member today. - 15 September 2025 I incorporated ConstructionX AI Ltd at Companies House. - October 2025 I joined Nate Herk’s AIS Skool community. - November 2025 I joined AIS+. - Late January 2026 I stepped up into Liam’s paid AAA Accelerator tier. Still a member today. - 13 February 2026 the workspace went live and I committed to two posts a day. - 14 May 2026 (today) the first Ā£4,500 build signs through the productised funnel. The brand had been quietly forming for months before the daily build started. Domain registered, soft conversations, early demos for friends. The visible push did not really begin until February. So: - ~14 months teaching myself AI - 8 months since incorporation - 7 months in this room - 6 months in AIS+ - 3 months of daily public building - Today, the first Ā£4,500 build Not slowly, not quickly. Just relentlessly.

Great job and keep hustling
I only made $3.50 an hour
I only made $3.50 an hour picking strawberries at 13 years old. I ended up working 180 hours that summer so I could buy myself an iPhone 4. It was well worth it, and the same job helped me finance my own computer as well. Most people scoff at this. $3.50 an hour, why would you do that? For me it didn't matter, because I had a goal and was ready to do whatever it took to achieve it. The same mindset helped me land my first $5 job on Upwork 6 months ago, where I debugged a client's system in 3 hours. And yes, you're not going to get rich doing $5 gigs, I get that. But I had a goal, and I was ready to set aside my ego. Because by doing that, I made $6k last month and this month is looking even more promising. I now have multiple clients giving me full freedom to work on what I want. Looking back, the $5 job was the stepping stone to get here. Instead of seeing it as a bad thing, I saw it as something that would help me in the future. I see people offering automation left and right but not managing to get any clients. I even know some who have been in this space for a full year and made $0. So the question I ask myself is what am I willing to do to make it work. Because I'd rather not spend years spinning my wheels and making zero progress.

This is exactly what most people miss. Everyone wants the $10k months, but nobody wants the phase where you do uncomfortable, low-paying work just to build proof, skills, and trust. The $5 job wasn’t about the money — it was about momentum. Too many people protect their ego so hard that they never get their first real client or real experience. Execution beats pride every single time.
7 Day Challenge
I've just started the 7 Day Challenge. Hoping to learn as much as possible. New to AI automations and looking to dive in. I want to do AI automations consulting (& eventually building too). This is the best knowledge base and network. Anyone else currently in the challenge? #AISChallenge
