The Abortion Delusion
The Abortion Delusion: What is it exactly? It is the belief that abortion is good for society and that it is a human right—that mothers can kill their own children, and because it is their body that it is their choice. A society that kills its children—a people that murders their own progeny is doomed to destruction by the hand of God. It is their inevitable end—their ill-fated demise. Mothers and fathers who slaughter their innocent, unborn babies believing it is their right and their duty are beyond the pale in a God-fearing world. The deception is powerful and runs deeper that we think—discernment is nowhere to be found, even in some churches and among some Christians. The illusion of the propriety of infanticide, the illusion of the correctness of abortion is just that, an evil illusion—one that rests upon us like a heavy morning fog that never lifts, and lingers all day long. The delusion is strong—but the illusion itself is a fragile one. Common sense can smell its foul odour and detect its feeble fabrications for what they really are. And many Holy Spirit-filled believers have exposed this unholy alliance between men and the devil. The perpetrators of this wicked scheme and this evil deed have sold their souls to the devil. This secular society lies profusely to justify its actions and to ease its conscience. It’s a devilish brew—a demonic concoction that we have been forced to drink and which most of the population have swallowed without giving it a second thought, just like they’ve done with the false covid and vaccine narratives over the last five years. The abortion delusion, that is child sacrifice, now gives way to child molestation and child torture. Pedophilia, sexual immorality of any kind, and transgender medical procedures are now the rage—and the populace either defends it or they remain silent. However, being silent is not an option. The confrontation of evil and the resistance of wickedness in our midst is mandated to us by God. As Christians and as Churches we stand up and speak out against it clearly and unequivocally because we fear God not men. We will not be shamed into silence or to inaction. We will not be duped into believing their lies and into practicing violence. We will not follow in the way of Balaam which was greed—the love of money. We will not follow in the way of Cain which was violence—the act of killing. We will not follow in the way of Korah which was idolatry—the defiance of God who has created mankind in His image. Instead, we treasure every human being, born and unborn, because unlike animals we carry the image of God. From our creation onward we are meant to multiply the earth with our progeny not to massacre our offspring. Whatever God has told us to do, the devil will always deceive us into believing its opposite. It’s that simple. Women and children are to be protected not molested.
Bread, Spectacle, and Allegiance: Why Rome Feared the Early Church
Most people think Rome persecuted early Christians because Rome hated religion. That's not really what was going on. Rome had room for religion. Rome was drowning in gods. Temples, shrines, festivals, sacrifices, household idols. The issue was not that Christians had beliefs. The issue was allegiance. Rome could tolerate private faith. What it could not tolerate for long was a public people whose highest loyalty did not belong to the state. Now, to feel why that mattered, you have to picture how Rome held the crowd together. They used a rhythm. A system. Keep people fed, and not just fed, but fed for free. Grain distributions meant survival was tied to the system. Life stayed smoother if you stayed compliant. It quieted unrest without needing soldiers on every corner. Then keep people entertained. Games, festivals, spectacle. Loud enough to drown out reflection. Then keep desire active. Always something to crave next. Status, pleasure, comfort, approval. Keep people chasing. Keep them busy. Busy people do not ask big questions. And wrap all of it in ritual so participation feels normal, not forced. Altars. Processions. Public sacrifices. Honor the emperor. Not because everyone believed deeply, but because participation was the signal. It told the empire, I belong. I'm safe. I'm one of us. That's how you manage millions. Not by persuading every individual, but by shaping the crowd. Then Christ broke the rhythm. The gospel did not just give people new opinions. It moved the center. It rewired loyalty. And once loyalty shifts, it shows up in public. It changes what you do. What you refuse. What you will not say just to keep life easy. Because Rome's religion was not just spiritual. It was an economy. Temples moved money. Festivals moved commerce. Idols had supply chains. Craftsmen made statues. Vendors sold offerings. Trade groups often had ritual meals and offerings tied to the gods, and participation could affect your reputation and your ability to work. So when Christians stopped bowing, they also stopped buying.

So well said, articulately written Tre. An anointed message--your first post. Now we need to make the application to our day--the similarities of Rome's tactics and the Global Elites of today are uncanny during this Covid era with its cancel culture. What came to mind was what Jesus said to his disciples--"“Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." Matthew 10:28 A blessed New Year to you and your family. Sophie and Ali also hit the nail on the head with their comments.
Today's Journal Entry
A blessed new year to you all in 2026. I thought I would share a simple journal entry of mine that came from reading Matthew 12. Jesus makes these three statements to those Jewish religious rulers who were challenging His authority —“But I say to you, that something greater than the temple is here (12:6) — Behold, something greater than Jonah is here (12:41) — Behold, something greater than Solomon is here (12:42).” Jesus was making a very powerful point to them: He was and is greater than the temple, Jonah and Solomon—individually and combined. He came to fulfill the OT covenant with God’s people, the nation of Israel—the believing remnant. His incarnate presence on earth as the eternal son of the living God is what Jesus is referring to. He also said—“The kingdom of God is at hand”. His work of saving, healing and delivering people from sin and sickness and bondage. God gave to Israel the temple and it was magnificent. God used Jonah to preach to the Ninevites God’s judgment and they repented at his preaching. God gave to Solomon wisdom and wealth beyond anyone else. Yet, Jesus was and is still greater than all these together and more. Jesus is still greater than all the religious founders who came after him, like Mohammed and Krishna and Buddha et al. Secondly, Jesus said in Matthew 12:12—“How much more valuable then is a man than a sheep! So then, it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.” Jesus argues with the Jewish authorities that to heal a man with a withered hand on the Sabbath is a no brainer, considering that they would rescue one of their sheep if it has become distressed on the Sabbath by falling into a pit and unable to get out. Human beings are not animals. Men and women are more valuable than animals. We are created in the image of God, whereas, animals are not. Evolution is a lie that has been taught in the West now for almost a century. Scripture always comes out on top when it comes to truth.

Saw this from a creator I follow on Facebook. Good reminder and she's absolutely right. We have to keep moving!🏃🏽🚶‍♀️👣 : Every believer stumbles in their walk, that doesn’t disqualify you. ❤️ When I hear “born again,” I think of a baby growing, learning, and starting to walk. Toddlers need to be stood back on their feet endlessly and over time it happens less often. It only becomes concerning if the baby stops attempting to walk all together The righteous falls seven times and rises again, but the wicked stumble in times of calamity (Proverbs 24:16) ⬆️ The righteous keep trying again (endurance!) the wicked stop walking all together I keep making posts/vids to attempt to wake up the unconvicted, and those who already have a soft heart toward God are usually the ones who feel it the deepest. If that’s you, a tender conscience is not a sign you’re far from God. It’s a sign the Holy Spirit is operating in you. Conviction draws us back to him. Condemnation tells us to stop trying altogether. The concern isn’t stumbling, all of us do. The concern is no longer caring whether you walk at all. God responds to a heart that keeps turning back to him, even when it’s messy. ❤️‍🔥

Well said Tre. Totally agree. James 3:2--"For we all stumble in many ways. If anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body as well."

Ali thanks for posting this. It's a sermon the late John MacArthur preached in the midst of the Covid "Pandemic". We do need to engage the world and resist evil and especially when governments wield the sword of ungodliness and unrighteousness. The Church needs to be a resistance movement in obedience to Christ's command to stand for the truth and to make Him known to the world, which for the most part will reject Him and His Church. We will be persecuted for the sake of righteousness and we will overcome by the blood of the Lamb of God, by our faith in Christ. The quote by Abraham Kuyper, Dutch Prime Minister, between 1901-1905 is excellent. Blessings on you today and a may your life in 2026 be greatly blessed by our God and by our Lord Jesus Christ.
