Advice?
So my childrens father who I am living with, told me when we met that he has a strong bond with god, just flat out lied. And with years passed it has come to the point that he hates the fact that i am religious. He mocks me constantly, and makes fun of god, and laughs at me when he sees me studying the bible. He has now admitted after 8 years that he doesnt even believe god exists. I pray for his soul anyway. How i handle it is that i try to ignore but saddens me because our children hear his comments. And i thought them well and also they study in school about religion. But they get xonfused when their own father talks like that. He is also a very mean personality. So my question is..would you just ignore or some other way to go about it?
Praying in the early mornings
Happy Friday, y’all! I keep waking in the middle of the night, and decided months ago I was a captive audience to God, and should pray. This time God asked me to pray for everyone here…for protection, steadfast hearts and intentions, healed minds through the Holy Spirit, and strength and bravery. And that others who are like-minded will find us and grow, themselves. Amen.

Israel controlling Government: Was it always gonna be this way?
Hey All, I was reading Matthew 27 today seeking an answer to a question I had when it hit me (you’ll have to read it to see what I mean): Jesus was crucified under Roman law, but only because he didn’t truly judge for himself and do what he thought was right! Pilar had found Jesus innocent, “he knew that it was because of envy that they had handed Him over to him”. And then Pilat wrestled with trying to set Him free. But ultimately, even though Pilat KNEW the just and right thing to do - he let them use him for injustice, to kill not only an innocent Man but God in flesh, and ultimately did it to placate them because they were foaming into a riot. This hit me hard. I’ve never thought about it like that. I was always focused on the Roman soldiers beating Him, mocking Him, and ultimately crucifying them. And/or maybe it’s because we are living through a time when we see that our own president and government is beholden to of Israel. Anyways, I’m pondering this and wondering the significance. Any thoughts?
Just want to say I love you ALL!
I held each of you in my prayers this morning, and I just want to remind you that no matter what you’re walking through, there is always something to be thankful for. I know we’ve got some who are new to the faith, some who don’t practice Christianity, and some who are seasoned vets, but the truth remains: evil wants to sap your joy, shake your confidence to keep going, isolate you from people who care, and have you drifting through life with no real expectation of happiness. Don’t fall for it. Let’s keep lifting each other up, leaning into the role of a servant, and doing our best to be the brightest, warmest lights we can be in a dark, cold world. I’m truly thankful for each of you, and I’m praying favor, peace, and joy over your life. It’s worth it. You’re important. You’re seen. God bless 🙏🏼
