You should have sent your password as well... they probably need it. 😅
My welcome sequence 👋
Here’s how I structure my welcome sequence: - Email 1: Immediate. “Hey [First Name], here’s the thing you asked for. Oh, and welcome!”  - Email 2: Two hours later. “Hi, I’m Doug. Here’s why I’m not a random bloke in your inbox.”  - Email 3: Next day. “Let’s connect on LinkedIn. I promise I’m not weird.”  - Email 4: Two days later. “Here’s some of my best stuff. No pressure, just value.”  - Email 5: Three days later. A soft sell. “Fancy this exclusive thing? It’s a no-brainer.”  The key? Build trust first. Sell later. Oh, and don’t let your welcome sequence gather dust. Keep it fresh. Update it with new content, offers, or wins. What’s your welcome sequence look like? Share it below. Let’s swap notes. 👇 P.S. If you’re still sending “BUY NOW” as your first email, we need to chat. 🫣

In email 2, which, like you, I send a few hours later, I ask then an open question on how I can be of service. This opens the conversation with some cool people.

@Tiffany Bartlett not huge, but the ones who do take the time are very qualified prospects.
I need your help!
I want to get to 250 members by Xmas. Can you all invite ONE other person to this group? 🙏

Google’s 7-11-4 rule (part 1)
Ever heard of Google’s 7-11-4 rule? Here’s the gist: For someone to decide to buy from you, they need to spend 7 hours engaging with you, across 11 touchpoints, in 4 separate locations. Sounds like a tall order, right? When I first heard this, I thought, “Oh, crap, am I even close to 7 hours of content?!” Do I have 11 touchpoints? Are there 4 places where my audience can actually find me? Cue mild panic. But here’s the thing – don’t freak out. It’s not about creating endless streams of new content or being everywhere at once. That’s impossible (and exhausting). Instead, it’s about working smarter, not harder. This is where content repurposing saves the day. – Got a long-form blog? Chop it into bite-sized LinkedIn posts. – Done a webinar? Break it into reels, emails, or mini-blogs. – Posted once? Post it again (because most people didn’t see it the first time). Chances are, you’ve already got a treasure trove of content sitting around. You just need to make it work harder for you. So, before you spiral into a content-creation frenzy, take a step back. Look at what you’ve already done. Then repurpose, reuse, and repeat. Let’s make Google’s 7-11-4 rule work for you – without working yourself into the ground. Want help? Drop me a DM, and I’ll show you how to make it happen. 🚀🔥

Interesting! I know this rule, but I use it differently: I publish long for content on my YouTube channel to create a playlist that people can bingewatch. This way they get to 7 hours quickly.

My Loom is booming 🔥
In an effort to superload this community with valuable content, I'm recording 10 short loom videos every day, so I can post these in this community, and spread them out over the coming months, well into 2025. The best of these videos will get added to the 2X Emails course in the next 2-3 weeks, so if you want to jump the queue and watch these videos without waiting, you can sign up and get your hands on them! I'll keep you updated on progress, look out for my videos!

@Doug Dennison Oh that's sad. You could make a "new module" teaching them how to join your skool community to get xyz lead magnet" ;)
