Capital One Account closed?
Was recently approved for Capital One Quicksilver, it was still being created yesterday, when I logged in a few minutes ago it said "ACCOUNT CLOSED", under that it says "This account is currently restricted". Did I get shutdown? I didn't even receive the card yet. Update: Got a letter stating "We are closing this account because Capital One has observed activity on one or more of your Capital One accounts that is inconsistent with typical customer account usage."

@A Vas interesting info thank you. Ill chill for a while and will try again in a few months. The address is tricky indeed.
Capitalone approved, Quicksilver 500$ unsecured and closed 2 days thereafter
Recently I received my ITIN with the help of Taxsym, which was very good experience. After a quick chat with @Ain - Cloud Resident and studying the classroom (as premium member), I gave C1 pre approval a shot. What a bummer - no offers! Just dont take no as an answer so I tried again after some days passed, and like magic 2 offers appeared this time. Platinum secured and Quicksilver unsecured. So I grab the quicksilver offer, request for the usual passport and itin paper and getting approved for 500$ unsecured limit 2 days later. Thanks to @Ain - Cloud Resident and the community, theres some solid stuff here. Edit: card was shipped but on the same day account got closed without any extra activity on my side.

APPROVED: Alliant CU | Fully remote | w/ ITIN | Foreign address
Anyone looking for a US checking / savings account should check out Alliant, the process was pretty straightforward. I was drawn to Alliant specifically because they allowed W-8BENs at initial account opening, and you don't need to have a US address. They are explicitly NRA-friendly, so no in-person visits required either. The only catch is that you need to fill out a "paper" application instead of going through the online process. Here's the link to the form, which you can fax, mail, or send via the chat. I did it via the chat, I just said I wanted to submit a paper application and if they could please forward it to the back office. Documents I submitted: - Signed form (signed in wet ink and scanned) - Passport - ITIN letter - W-8BEN - Utility bill evidencing my street address as stated in the form Timeline: - 17 April – submitted documents via chat - 26 April – received email stating my debit card was shipped on 23 April - 27 April – called them to ask for my member number so I could setup online banking; details sent via secure email (account opening date was stated as 22 April) So overall it was a quick and hassle free process, I'll update this post when I receive my debit card!

i got denied. Maybe you need to have info on your file. (mine is empty).
For those of you building U.S. credit with an ITIN and multiple credit cards, how do you keep track of everything each month?
Between payment due dates, statement closing dates, utilization, and autopay, it seems like it could get stressful once you have several cards. Do you use a spreadsheet, an app, calendar reminders, or just autopay everything? I’d love to hear what system works best for you.

im yet to start but i plan to use ach debit / autopay for all cards on one account/brokerage and look to have enough money coming in there (size of the max credit limit).

@Chrisdy Masson yeah but only a slight one above the limits in case of financial review.
