Bulk or cut
I am 18 years old, and weight 68 kg. I do BJJ(started 1,5 years ago). I am decent. I can beat most of the white belts(only 1 or 2 are better than me, and both of them are heavier, not waaay heavier, but heavy enough that it is hard to sweep or take them down). I can beat, or be competitive against some blue belts(even though some of them are heavier). My coach said that he wants me to compete, while I am still a white belt. Another guy(purple belt) told me the coach told him I will probably get my blue belt in the next couple of months. So I want to go to this competition: ADCC Romania. https://asr.smoothcomp.com/en/event/30220 Here is the link if you want to know about it. I would compete in -70. The problem here is that there are 3 guys already in the competition, in my weight class. One is a 21 year old, who has competed once before and lost. Another one is a 17 year old guy(few months younger than me I think). He competed before and is 1-1. Then the next is a 17 year old Blue Belt. He has way more experience. And I think he looks bigger than me. I could cut to -65(I used to weight 66 kg just a few months ago, and I have almost 2 months to cut this weight). In that weightclass, the only guy is a 17 year old white belt. Based on his profile picture he is a MMA fighter, and has 2 grappling competitions, both lost in the first match. The competition here is waaay lighter. The thing is: I kind of feel like a pussy if I cut. Like I am running from somebody. I think I should bulk to 71, then cut 1,5 kg(mostly waterweight, from a sauna or something). And just face these guys with more experience than me.

I am guessing this is your first competition. From experience i think its better to choose the easiest option when it comes to weight for your first competition. Its just another thing that will get into your head and cause unnecessary stress and doubt. Go for the easier weight class bro thats my advice. Last time i cut for a national tournament i was sick whilst being guillotined and felt like absolute shit. Still placed 3rd but think i could have done better if i managed my weight more effectively.
FIRST VIDEO OVER 10K VIEWS!
Finally!!! When you first start making educational content and you're getting max 100 views you cannot even fathom getting 10 views... Posting daily allows you to collect data about what your niche likes. Once you figure out your 'content bucket' try and double-10x on that as best you can (just my opinion). I am slowly developing more and more members from YouTube which is exciting because originally it was mainly through IG. What is everyone's (who is above me in YouTube) advice on making videos that get 100k+ views. Is it just a matter of consistency? Everyone who is on the same level as me or slightly below me on YouTube... what is your biggest struggle when it comes to YouTube? Have you discovered what your 'content bucket' is yet?
