Bear and Me walking improvement
Thank you so much to @Nath Morrison & Eliza & Sian & whole walkies school! May not look like much but I have never been able to walk Bear without the pulling, especially on the way back towards our house when she would try to drag me there๐Ÿฅด I know I need to remember to relax a bit more & I still have a lot to learn but this is sooo encouraging ๐Ÿ˜

Oh loooook! Seeeee you are doing it ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ sometimes it helps to wiggle and shake your arms around and relax the shoulders ๐Ÿคช before you go for the walk ๐Ÿ˜† it takes practise!
Thank you
Crunch and family would like to say a huge thank you to the Walkys team for the care, patience, and energy youโ€™ve given over the past six months. Today is Crunchโ€™s last day, and while heโ€™s excited for whatโ€™s next, heโ€™ll definitely miss the amazing people whoโ€™ve been part of his journey. Itโ€™s been a wonderful program with a genuinely wonderful team. Thank you for everything youโ€™ve done and for making it such a positive experience for Crunch (and for us).๐Ÿ’™ A pre and post day care picture

Reluctant to sit
Hi team, Yes in his reports each week and at home I have a hard time making Archie sit properly . Some times he does when first asked but most of the times I have to physically push down on his lover back so he can attempt to sit. I imagine this is not the right way of teaching Archie to sit (and I donโ€™t think it healthy on his back as well doing it this way) and maybe this is why it is also showing at school. Iโ€™m not sure if it is the breed but sometimes I do not know if Archie is actually sitting as he is so close to the ground. I went into the classroom tab to see if I can find something to help me on this but I can not find it. @Nath Morrison @Lex Stephens @Sian Isaac are you able to point me in the right direction. I also find it hard when we go on walks and we stop to cross the road. I usually do the lightly pushing on his lower back to sit and most of the time it looks like he is squatting instead of sitting. Sorry @Nath Morrison i did talk to you this evening when I picked up Archie but I read the daily report when I got home, hence why I forgot to mention it to you.

Hi Maria! yes sometimes its hard to tell with his little legs and low tummy isnt it! Instead of pushing his bum down, you should say 'sit' (ONCE ONLY) lift the slip lead straight up applying light pressure until his bum hits the floor say 'YES' and you relax your arm, give him a treat if you have them on you.
