How much cardio should I be doing?
Hey @Shaneal Diiren thanks for curating a great workout and diet plan for me. I'm keen to see more fat loss and realise I've not been doing much cardio in addition to my current workout. We've spoken about what cardio I can do, just want to check with you on how many times a week I should be doing cardio? 🏃🏽‍♀️🏇🏽🏊🏽‍♀️

Good work on your training so far, and honestly that's a good general topic that I need to address. This not only applies to you, but anyone in a fat loss phase can use this rule: 1. This is the top priority: 10k steps a day minimum, working it up to 12-15k daily steps Walking is low impact and primarily burns fat. This means it's harder to break this habit 2. We will personally start with 2x per week of cardio of your choosing at zone 2 for 30 min, which is a fancy way of saying 120-135 BPM for your heart rate. I personally use a chest strap monitor, but a fitbit is a good start. Eliptical, incline walking, stairmaster are the best here. I recommend starting here for 2 weeks without changing your diet, and we will assess in the future!
