What CRMs do Advisors use? And what are the alternatives to Redtail/Wealthbox?
A lot of advisors are frustrated with Redtail, if you've seen some of the posts in the Google forum recently - many are considering leaving - but what are the options? First, I want to review 3 AdvisorTech surveys and the market leaders in each (I'll list the top five here and then include the full results attached). Kitces 2021 CRM Survey (Attached): - Redtail - 32.9% - Wealthbox - 22.7% - Salesforce - 13.3% - Other - 8.9% - Junxure - 6.1% T3/Inside Information 2022 CRM Survey (Attached): - Redtail - 58.84% - Wealthbox - 9.05% - Tamarac CRM - 4.98% - Salesforce Financial Services Cloud - 4.63% - Advyzon - 4.25% RIA in a Box 2022 CRM Survey (Top 3): - Redtail - 45% - Wealthbox - 16% - Salesforce - 11% Pretty much across all three surveys, Redtail is the market leader, Wealthbox is in 2nd, and Salesforce or some combination of Salesforce and related Overlays are 3rd. Where do you stand?

Hi All, just wondering and sorry if this was already asked, anyone here use Hubspot as a fully integrated CRM?

Thanks Joe! I will look into - My firm is looking into Fully Integrating in Hubspotas our actual CRM instead of Redtial, I got a small glimpse today and on the service side it doesnt make sense to go there from Redtail, but a great Marketing tracking tool.

@Joe Moss - Thanks, I will pass SLANT onto them. They already signed up with HUBSPOT for the marketing aspect, and want to try and use Hubspot as our CRM... We are good at pursuing better for the firm with technolgy and for clients. THe Hubspot didnt look like the CRM section of it, could handle what we do especially for service and all the task we handle. Have a wonderful 3 day weekend!

Schwab Digital Workflows
Is anyone using the "new" Schwab Digital Workflows? Is compliance having any issues with this process?

Hi there! We use it at our firm it is our firms Best Practice yo use first before Docusign or paper signed. Schwab has updated so that you now get a copy of the Management Agreement signed by client. I do believe that the version we added to the digital workflow is updated by attorney''s and compliance so that it has the right wording for this type of electronic signature. It comes seperate from the new account documents that client sign so you can download for your records. So we keep both the client new account paperwork and all firm documents that client signs of acknowledges.

Activity Template vs. Workflow
I'm looking for feedback on the use of an activity template vs. workflow in RedTail specifically in small offices. I see huge value in workflows for larger offices where one person takes the call from a client who requests a distribution and someone else is the one to place the trades and someone else actually processes the money movement request, etc.. Does the same value exist for a small office to use workflows? Right now I'm using an activity template with the different pieces in there and think it meets our needs but I also don't want to overlook a feature if it will have a huge impact. Thanks in advance for any feedback!

When it comes to workflows how does anyone handle that you cannot make a note? Someone told me have the workflow and a task that coincides but that is much more work! We use templates for our offices without notes in workflows hard to use for us. Most of what we do for on boarding is all done by one person.

We use Redtail! Most of our workflows are just one person completing the workflow for on boarding clients! In the workflow there is no place to make note of what is going on if not completing it at the time. So we use activity templates as our checklist/workflow.
