Posted my first video in YT Journey Re-Start
Feel free to check it out and all feedback is appreciated. I know I left all the ums and filler words in but I literally couldn't figure out how to take them out except manually, and that wasn't happening. Done over perfection. SOOOOOOOOOO Excited to re-start my Youtube journey again. https://youtu.be/lAW-RVZagrU

@Helen Wallworth no thank you. I am not interested in digital marketing at this time
Finally...
I just finished recording my first video, in about a year's time. I still have to edit and post it, but I can't begin to explain how big a hurdle that was for me. I've been "intending" to be a Youtube creator for so long, and even in the last month, just intending to post my first video, and there was just so much friction, in my environment, in my mindset, my nervous system, etc. So, I am super happy and proud of myself for this accomplishment. I only recorded once and I used a script and that actually might look evident, but I don't care. Because as it is said here, "done over perfection" and "nobody's really watching yet", and "everyone starts at the beginning," lol. Uploaded video link pending...

@Hollie Gallatin I started to edit it today. Hope to finish and post by tomorrow. It's mostly just an intro to my channel. I am doing videos on self-improvement using systems thinking with my journey as the lens
Are You Hiding?
Most creators don’t struggle because they aren’t capable. They struggle because part of them is still holding back. You can be posting consistently. You can be learning. You can be “doing the work.” And still not be fully all in. Because your actions might say yes……but your inner dialogue, energy, and self-trust are quietly saying no. Here’s the pattern I see over and over: We were taught to distrust ourselves. To override intuition with logic. To look outside ourselves for permission, certainty, and validation. That conditioning doesn’t just affect YouTube. It affects your creativity. Your confidence. Your ability to lead. Your willingness to be seen. You cannot move forward fully if you don’t fully believe you’re allowed to. One small practice I want to give you today (no fixing, no forcing): - The Somatic Truth Test Sit still for a moment. Take one deep breath. Say to yourself: “I’m not ready yet.” Don’t analyze it. Just notice your body. Does your chest expand or tighten? Does your breath deepen or shorten? Do you lean forward or pull back? Now simply name it: “This thought feels expansive” or “This thought feels contracting.” Now try: “This is the direction I’m meant to go.” Notice again. Name it. Your body already knows the truth. Your mind just likes to argue with it. If you start listening here — even in this small way — you stop abandoning yourself. And everything begins to shift from that point forward. Try this with your next video idea...does it feel expansive or contracting? I’d love to know: What did you notice when you tried this? Expansive or contracting? Drop it below 👇

Restarting...again
So, I am restarting my YT journey as I took a long hiatus because it was "not now" for me. I have a personal YT channel where I watch videos and create lists for like starting a business, engage in the comments, and what not. But then I also have a YT channel that was supposed to be for my business. I have maybe one or two videos posted on here and I tend not to engage using this channel because the other one is just default. Since my business will be built around my personal brand, would it be okay to just use my personal channel to start doing videos on, when they relate to the Skool community I am creating? Thanks

@Jack S ADHD life design from a bottom-up, capacity-based, adaptive approach to sum it up

@Jack S nope. I was told to focus on building my community since youtube is meant to bring in traffic. My first bottleneck is making sure they have something to do, engaging in my free offer.
Ideas wanted!
I have a channel which focuses on budgeting and saving money on things like grocery shopping. Lots of my audience like to watch me go shopping and get food for less, so I'm guessing they probably have small budgets themselves. I know if I want to earn good money from YouTube I need to create and sell through the channel, and that coaching programmes (especially high ticket) are recommended. My dilemma is .. what and how do I sell to an audience who probably don't have any spare budget? 🤔 I already have a free menu planner and two other very cheap digital products and am writing an ebook. I'd love to do coaching and create courses but I'm not sure my audience would have the cash to spend.. and im telling them not to buy things they don't need too!! Any help is welcome 🙏 🤗

@Suzanne Milbourne well, you know, if you find 2-3 people, please verify, who also sign up to start a community through your link, you get your membership free. And I read that wrong. I though you were starting a membership at $9/mo. Anyway, there is either a 7 or 14-day free trial going on. I've seen links for both although I dont know if they are borh live or if they just link you back to whichever offer is current right now. You find a few people within those free days, and you don't pay. That's my plan at least.

@Suzanne Milbourne I will. I have a few plans to get members so if they work, I can try to remember to report back to you, for when you are ready, or you can just reach out too!!
