When choosing feels exhausting
Decision fatigue often comes from years of making choices under pressure. When urgency has been the default, the system eventually slows down, not to sabotage progress, but to protect itself. Pauses are often protective, not problematic. So many years deciding under pressure. Now I get quiet, pause, take deep breaths, and sometimes journal to get it out and to get more clarity. Gets me back to the present.

@Shelia Clark You got this, even if it is just for a few minutes 🙂

@Dr. Stephanie Murauskas Yes, I usually journal in the evening, sometimes morning too. 😊
After being the reliable one
When you’ve spent years being the reliable one, slowing down can feel uncomfortable. Rest may feel unearned. Receiving may feel awkward. Not being needed can feel disorienting. This isn’t a flaw, it’s an identity shift. And it takes time. I gave away so much of my energy to others and it became exhausting and when I finally said no more it was such a relief and now I protect my energy at all costs. Calm and ease.

Thank you it is a practice for sure.
💙 If Skool hasn’t turned into real momentum yet, this is for you.
I’m teaching how to turn Facebook content into buyers by pairing it with a Skool community that does the heavy lifting. This is the same strategy I used to build a five-figure business and community organically. No paid ads No dm’s I’m sharing the full breakdown in a live workshop. Grab your spot here 👇🏽 Register HERE

This phase isn’t talked about enough
Transitions often feel harder than the situation you’re leaving. Not because you made the wrong choice, but because your nervous system is adjusting to uncertainty after years of structure and responsibility. In my journey I came to a point where I was wanting more out of life and no longer wanted to work for someone else any longer. However, my nervous system was used to climbing the ladder, meeting deadlines, always going above and beyond, working hard to do the "right" thing, and a lot of effort-ing. When I left corporate and started on this new path of starting my own online business and being my own boss that was something my body was not used to. Lots to release and letting go of old patterns. Doing the inner work I have become aware of things I hadn't been aware of before. Its progress and as I grow and uplevel more layers will appear to work through. I also work on remember to celebrate the small wins on this journey of learning and doing the inner work. Nothing is wrong if things feel slower or quieter during this phase. That’s often where recalibration happens.

@Jackie Smythe I feel this too
Who wants to play?
I'm posting a "promot" for Chat GPT right away if you want to try it out. :-) Then feel free to upload your results here. If you don't want to use Chat GPT, you can simply upload a few real pictures. Pictures that show your life right now. I'm curious. Here's the Chat GPT prompt: "Please create a portrait image of me based on all the information you already have about me. So a kind of vision board, or rather a live board. Include everything you've already noticed from our conversation so far in this image. Create this image in the cartoon Pixar style." I'll post mine in the comments
