This phase isn’t talked about enough
Transitions often feel harder than the situation you’re leaving. Not because you made the wrong choice, but because your nervous system is adjusting to uncertainty after years of structure and responsibility. In my journey I came to a point where I was wanting more out of life and no longer wanted to work for someone else any longer. However, my nervous system was used to climbing the ladder, meeting deadlines, always going above and beyond, working hard to do the "right" thing, and a lot of effort-ing. When I left corporate and started on this new path of starting my own online business and being my own boss that was something my body was not used to. Lots to release and letting go of old patterns. Doing the inner work I have become aware of things I hadn't been aware of before. Its progress and as I grow and uplevel more layers will appear to work through. I also work on remember to celebrate the small wins on this journey of learning and doing the inner work. Nothing is wrong if things feel slower or quieter during this phase. That’s often where recalibration happens.
